These are identical in fit to a pair of Levi’s 511 (after washing & drying the Levi’s 10 times to break them in). I recently purchased 5 pairs of these to replace my H&M Skinnys. The H&Ms were a touch too skinny for me, and my old go-to Levi 511 are just super inconsistent purchasing online (some come perfect fit, while others come 2 inches too short in legs, or 2 sizes too small in the waist; for $50 a pair, they really should come perfect every time). I found these (for only $22) are ALL identical in waist size and length to each other, which is such a relief due to how inconsistent Levi’s have always been. I did have to size-up in these jeans in the waist. I am always a 32 (Levi’s, H&M, Aero, American Eagle, Good Fellows), but these jeans I needed to buy a 33 in the waist (no way I could fit into a 32) and buying them in 33 is a perfect waist size for me (like the other jeans I stated are in 32). I have nothing poor to say about these jeans. They are stiffer than the other brand’s jeans (that’s because the Amazon Basics only use 1% spandex while most other jeans are using 3-5%) but I don’t find them uncomfortable at all. These are my new go-to jeans now, and for the price, you really can’t go wrong with at least giving these jeans a try. I’d size 1 up in the waist and you’ll be good to go 👍

Compare to the same Amazon Essentials skinny-fit stretch jeans in blue, this pair of black jeans come in a lighter denim material. Blue (99% Cotton, 1% Elastane) whereas black (97% Cotton, 3% Elastane). Personally I prefer more cotton than less for it has a thicker feel on me. The black pair of jeans also fits me fine, just not the same feel, no complaint here. Perhaps Amazon Essentials will consider using the same (99% Cotton and 1% Elastane) for their future skinny-fit jeans in all colors. Thank you.

I bought these jeans mostly because I am tired of the usual blue, gray, brown and black jeans. I was looking for something different and I think these qualify. I don't see many green jeans around. I am still looking for unusual colors (maroon?), but they are hard to find. Meanwhile, these jeans fit me well and feel comfortable although the material seems thin compared to older style jeans I have worn. I wouldn't want to wear these jeans outside on a very cold day, but they will be fine in summer. Also, the trousers are a bit snug on my legs, but that's alright.
