easy bolt in replacement, I decided to go with metric bolts on the fan shroud. the preinstalled nutserts apparently are no longer SAE.

    • Decent radiator
I installed this 3 core radiator in 1990 2.5 standard transmission . Straight forward install, using a flex fan with an 2 inch adapter. So far it's an excellent upgrade from the traditional 1 core. I am hoping to see long term use..

    • Don't waste your money
Lost the luster and finish the moment it got warm started flaking off and small leak in it looks nice when you get it out of the box but once it's on watch out going to look like brushed aluminum and the welds suck so bad you will definitely have leaks I couldn't return mine because I had an upcoming vacation I couldn't get out of so let's say I will probably be repairing the leak but stay away from this item should of known price was too good to be true ... show more

I purchased this radiator to replace my old broken one in my 1988 Jeep Wrangler with the 4.2 . It arrived early and was packaged very well with no damage . I was impressed with the fit and finish . All mounting holes and fan shroud holes lined up perfect . My Jeep required a 13 ld radiator cap and this radiator came with a 17 ld cap . I bought a 13ld cap and also replaced my thermostat at the same time . This was a very good purchase and it also added extra cooling capacity , going from a 2 row factory radiator to a aluminum 3 row radiator . ... show more
