This thing is a gem Throw rocknix on an SD and you'll have a blast. Bought this for the lil miss after her 3ds finally died and even just playing ds games for now she's happy. I do believe 3ds compatibility will get better but also this was a toe dip into clamshell dual screen emulation with a budget. Dont listen to the nay sayers. It's pretty great. Awesome retro gaming device. After adding my legally acquired ROM’s, this thing plays up to nds well, and even some 3ds games run really well on it. There was minimal setup, the controls feel nice, sticks are a bit compromised, but for n64 and Dreamcast and even DualShock or 3ds, they work well enough, and are appreciated. Lately I’ve been playing my gba games and even running YouTube (in the browser) or a game guide on the second screen. Only downside is no Google play support, so many apps aren’t supported. Hopefully this will change with some updates, but for now, this is my favorite device.

1. Uninstall Drastic. Install Drastic again from scratch. 2. Don’t use the included launcher, it can’t scrape anything, has no artwork, and barely functions. 3. Download ES-DE from the included APK store. 4. Download ES-DE Companion App from the APK Store as well to display artwork on the top screen while you browse games on the bottom screen. 5. Change “Game Launcher” in settings to “ES-DE” Leave off companion app for faster browsing and startup. 6. Use the home button to switch out of the Frontend anytime it is “slow” and close any background apps you may have left open, or simply switch back to reshift app focus. Anyone complaining it doesn’t work simply hasn’t used a stock Anbernic device before, they never work stock and usually require Custom Firmware to be playable… this does not. It comes playable right away with the newest stock firmware, and with the above steps becomes a better device for DS games than any other competitor (ie: that has the wrong screen format or upper analog sticks) where as this can easily be put in NATIVE ASPECT RATIO mode and look fine with a border, or stretched at a 1.5 rate which isn’t bad for these types of games either, when laying a nice LCD Grid Shader over the top that is….

This is CLEARLY not new. The box came damage. This was supposed to be a Gift, I don't have time to return it. But maybe I will after showing it to my friend. Not only that but the handheld came with a black stain. I don't know if this was supposed to be used but the product description said new. I will update if anything happens.

I mean, it works. Dont expect to run an of the 3DS games even though it has those emulators installed. But for DS and lighter? Runs great. The build quality is pretty good, and for the price point its alright. Buying it here is easy, and I have prime so I got it next day, but its not the best hardware inside. For that you want to visit the actual website but, honestly, id recommend. The big selling point for getting it here is fast delivery. But once again, dont expect the most powerful hardware version

I am very happy with this. Keep in mind that it runs android but does not have Google play, which comes with a limiting factor as you search for workarounds, but for me it's perfect. It will play some 3ds games with only minor lag, so that's a plus as well. I advice installing Aurora Store so you can have some apps, but as Google Play services are not installed, some apps may not work as you intend unless you install other OS or programs.
