You can't go wrong with wooden utensils! These are a nice, heavy and sturdy. The edges are smoothe. They are easy to use however, since they are made of wood, understand that the spatulas are a little thicker than metal or plastic so they aren't the best for making something very flat like pancakes. Besides that, I like knowing I'm not cooking with plastic anymore which is safer for my family. I got the nonpainted color because I anted the traditional look. Don't put these in the dishwasher. I handwash them so that it doesn't ware off the protective wax as fast. You will eventually have to rewax them in time. ... show more

Loved them although one of them crack in the first use. Not sure if it's poor quality or just a defective one in the batch. I understand that too much heat can cause them to crack, but I didn't expect them to do so in the first use.

We just love these wood utensils, spatulas and spoons. they are easy to clean and the don't seem to scratch the non stick pans we use. they are very sturdy and nice looking also. Lightweight, yet sturdy. I think they will last us for a very long time; many years. Other wood spatulas we have purchased in the past have lasted us for many years.
