This replaced my Mazda CX5 thermostat that was stuck closed. Pulled the old one and it looked completely identical to this new one. If your lower radiator hose is cold even after driving around all day, you need a new thermostat.

For whatever reason, these are super hard to find with an o-ring. Finding an o ring separately, is also very hard. This seems to be a great part at a good price. Installed quickly and didn't leak.
