I recently sold my home and decided to rent apartment until I decide on buying another home . The apartment I rented was being completely remodeled . When I first walked in the smell of cigarette smoke was so strong that it would make you sick . I thought a lot of it is in walls and floor covering so the paint and taking carpet out and putting wood flooring would take out the smell . The smell of new paint masked the smell Some . My first night in the apartment I woke up and it smelled like I woke up in a bar. I went to visit a friend the next day and she said you smell like cigarette smoke . The smell was even in my clothes . I was ready to move out but after researching how to get rid of smoke smell , I decided to try this . I let it run 24 hours with AC unit fan on automatic and all fans running . I came back the next morning and the apartment had an almost chemical smell and it was like a fog filled the place . I opened the doors and let air out a bit . It didn’t take long and the chemical smell wasn’t as strong and it had almost a fresh smell . The cigarette smell was gone . I couldn’t believe how well it worked . I would have never thought it would make that big of difference. I’ve noticed after a few days of not much air circulating I can get a little bit of cigarette smell but not bad at all . I have started running this any time I leave for a few hours and the apartment smells very clean when I get back . The apartment is around 900 square feet and this small machine works great. I will also run for a few hours in a room and shut the door . Some reviews complain about a chlorine smell but it doesn’t last long . I would rather smell the chlorine smell over smelling like a bar. Highly recommend

I've purchased two of these and they work fantastic for pet odor. One of them developed some type of power supply problem 14 months after purchasing. Emailed Airthereal, from their website, they were extremely quick to respond, ran me through a few troubleshooting steps, and provided a replacement. Very happy with the experience. Would definitely recommend.
