Purchased for my Mobile Detailing business as a test unit compared to those that cost $300 more and I'm actually very happy I did. I run this for 30 minutes in most vehicles and the smell is gone. But the caveat is the vehicle is detailed which includes removing particulates from the surfaces. Still I ran this for 30 minutes in my shed and it got rid of the mildew smell. So it passes the test in that department. It's rated to last 3000 to 5000 hours in real world durability so I'll get more than my money's worth for such a paltry investment. If you are on the fence it's durability is good although the handle screws didn't line up perfectly only could secure 1 bolt. Still it's a solid machine that creates that o3 producing cold discharge onto the ceramic plate and it kills the bad stuff. I even used it at home one room at a time.

I've used this in multiple locations and it has worked every time. It eliminated the really strong dog odor in an entire house. You definitely need to remove the source of the odor to get the best results. I had to remove the carpet on the steps because there was no way to get all the hair out. Once that was gone I used the machine one more time and it cleared right up. Read the instructions. Remove people, plants and animals from premises before you use it.

This compact little device came beautifully packaged easy to follow directions and accessories. I bought it because I own a condo and the my neighbor downstairs is filthy beyond belief. She allowed her dog to pee and poo indoors for a couple years, only picking up the poo. She had a professional cleaner come in once in the middle of this time and they wore personal protective suits. I thought she had does and they were cleaning up after it. But no…I’d been inside her place because of common plumbing issues. There was layer on top of layer on top of layer of dog pee so thick it could be peeled off the floor, not to mention regular household dirt. She abandoned the place (now I know why) and six months later her family came and started tearing out flooring. Within 36 hours I was being bitten by invisible bugs and they were throughout my house. I’ve spent almost $2,000 on self help and exterminators. Unfortunately any treatments didn’t last because when they go in downstairs and do work on walls and floors it starts over again. A friend who has rentals has one of these and blasts his places for a full 24 hours when he needs to. He couldn’t find it to loan it to me so I bought my own. When I first received it I blocked off the bedroom and did only that room. I made sure the door was shut and sealed off by putting towels in plastic bags and placing them at the bottom so nothing would seep out. Holy moly it’s powerful. Even though I shower x2 daily I could feel them angry on my skin, via my clothing I guess. I ran it for three hours and my room smelled fresh, though not at all like rain, but clean, and seemed to be mite free. I haven’t been able to use it in the other rooms yet because of cold temperatures. I realized that even though I treat my room they keep coming back because my newish living room set and carpet is infested. I’ve got the carpet half torn out and the sofa and chair and a half turned upside down so the dog doesn’t get in them and bring mites back to the bedroom. I will be throwing it away because I’m not taking any chances. If you’ve ever had this problem you know how confusing and depressing it can be. Exterminators can’t do anything more than you can do for yourself. I’m throwing out all of my furniture with soft cushions as these things get deep into them and surface poisons don’t work into the deep to get them all. While I trust this machine to do its job I don’t know if it will go deep into cushions so I will be chopping my three year old beautiful furniture info chunks so no one will think it’s usable and take it into their own home. I wouldn’t do that to an enemy. Thank the powers that be that my tempurpedic is in an encasement. I took the machine to a condo I take care off that’s been unoccupied for about seven years. It had a slight roach problem. I ran the machine for the three hours in each room and I haven't seen any more roaches. I can’t wait for better weather to go stay at my friends condo so I can get the furniture and carpet out of my house so I can use my machine for a full day and get rid of these things once and for all. They’re an absolute curse.

Quick summary. We bought a house. Previous owners had 6 kids. It is obvious that at least on of the kids had a dog and that dog stayed in that kid's room. The smell of wet dog, and...well...other smells that come with combining a child, a dog, one room, and carpet. Our goal was to do our best to avoid pulling the carpet and either replacing it, or restoring the wood underneath because we already have too many projects. The carpet was professionally cleaned but that smell still lingered, even if not quite as badly after the cleaning. We decided to go with this Ozone generator as a last resort and it is definitely money well spent. Although it did take a full week of treatments. Starting it up in the morning just before leaving for work and then airing the room out after work each day. This thing did work. We even noticed a difference after the first treatment. The basement has a bit of a musty smell to it so I decided to move it down there to see how it would do and it definitely knocked the musty smell out. I'll be keeping it down there to run from time to time in order to keep that mustiness away (along with dehumidifier). Although you can hear it, it really isn't loud but that doesn't actually matter since you can't be in the same room with it, anyway. I'm really surprised something this small can do such a good job. If you are having issues with smells anywhere in your house, I highly recommend this.

Okay, so after trying most everything else to get rid of the cigarette smell in one of our apartments we rent, (trying bleach & water on the walls, painted, etc) and still had the smoke smell, tried this! After running twice for 1 and 2 hours each time, WOW!!! Smoke smell GONE!!! Yes, it smelled a bit funky until apartment was all aired out, but WOW!! Really worked AMAZINGLY well!!!

The house I purchased unfortunately had smokers live there and habitually smoked in the 3 seasons room. This resulted in a disgusting smoke smell which permeated throughout the entire house and gave me some serious buyer’s remorse. This product helped me enjoy my home & eased my worries. I read online that an ozone generator can work well so I added this to my cart, but didn't pull the trigger as I thought it was somewhat gimmicky. Instead I went with a TSP or TSP substitute solution and thoroughly cleaned the walls. This helped tremendously in terms of smell and removal of nicotine stains. However, there was still smoke smell that lingered around the house. That’s when I pulled trigger on the generator after some YouTube reviews and seeing that it would cost a lot more to rent it. I cannot describe my excitement while waiting for this to arrive at the house and give it a try. I felt like quoting Princess Leia "you're my only hope" when opening the box as I was desperate! If I recall correctly you just have to add the carry handle and attach the fan filter. Otherwise its ready out of the box. It is very easy to use with plugging it in, set the timer, and forget it. Just ensure no people or pets are in the area! We worked on the house before moving in so I would arrive at the house before work and set up the timer for 120 minutes in a room. Then during lunch, I would either turn it back on if it was a larger room or try another. Lastly, I would set the timer one last time before leaving the house at the end of the day. I am happy to say that we have given tours of the house to people who do not smell any smoke, including a few who originally smelled the ash tray of the 3 seasons room. If you are having issues with smoke smell I recommend using this product in conjunction with a thorough cleaning with TSP.
