I ended up having to put it on a microwave cart and let it drain into a bucket because my kitchen layout is uh small and unplanned (who even knows what the apartment managers were thinking). This little machine is great! I waited 3 months to buy one, checking reviews and different sites. Set up was super easy, use friendly and it holds more than I expected. I use the pour in water method and I do use 2 hot and one cold pitcher and I use the speed cycle now which is 30 minutes and cleans just as well as the normal clean which is well over an hour. I have had no issues with this, no leaks, no mess and it's just been fabulous and has made my life so much easier! I absolutely hate doing dishes by hand. I've used this over a dozen times since it arrived. Our house is older and doesn't have space in the kitchen for a dishwasher. I used to let dishes pile up because it's one of those household chores that I absolutely hate. This has definitely alleviated that problem. I use the tank (it is able to sit close enough to the sink that I can fill it straight from the faucet) rather than the hook up method so my sink is always free and I don't have to struggle with multiple hoses. The drain hose is fairly long which is nice. While it won't fit a ton of dishes, I think it's perfect for a two person household. It cleans quite well - though I do use a dish scrub brush on anything that might be stuck on and follow their directions for the best outcome. It has surprised me with its cleaning power. I love the quick wash mode (29 minutes) and use it almost exclusively. I'm super happy with it. ... show more

It does the job and is very quiet or at least won't bother when running in the background. What needs to be improved is the top rotor does not always revolve and requires regular cleaning with a brush which I never needed to maintain in the main conventional sized dish washers. Update: 3/12 I find I run it about once a week. Gets everything clean. Utensil basket tends to tip if you don't load it evenly. Biggest load has been six plates a small bowl and a glass with a pretty full utensil basket. NO counter top dishwasher will fit my counters, the cabinets are mounted to low on the wall. I made a rolling cart out of a small cabinet for it. I have done 3 loads in it and all have come out clean. I run it on normal w/o extra dry. Roughly 2 hours total time.. I finally found a snap fit connector here: on Amazon Sink Faucet Quick Connector,Faucet Adapter for Sink Connection Shower Hose/Garden Hose/Portable Washing Machine,Pet Bathing Chrome Visit the hsmhose Store As others have mentioned the silverware basket openings seem to be for chopsticks. AIRMSEN Portable Countertop Dishwasher is a great choice for any small kitchen or apartment. It's lightweight and easy to use and it can easily fit on the countertop or in a cupboard. The dishwashing cycles are powerful and efficient. This dishwasher is an ideal option for anyone who wants to save time and energy when washing dishes. Not to mention, it has an affordable price tag that will fit into anyone's budget. I don't know why I didn't buy this 5 years ago when I moved into my apartment that did not have a dishwasher. ****Note For Anyone Experiencing The Following Problem: Upper Spray Arm Not Turning**** So I started experiencing a slight problem about 3-4 months into using the dishwasher. The upper spray arm would stop rotating during the cleaning cycle. I emailed the company and they offered the following remedy: The most common culprit as to why the upper spray arm isn't moving is that debris has built up within the inner workings of the upper spray arm. To fix this, remove the lower tray of the dishwasher to freely access the upper spray arm. Then remove the upper spray arm by turning the large screw by hand. After it's removed, clean out any debris that has wrapped around the mounting area for the spray arm. This is usually food particles, hair, and other general buildup. Then check the spout nozzles for any blockages. Use a toothpick or a sharp stick to unclog the individual outlets. Then rinse with water to clean out the dirty things in the spouts. Make sure that each outlet is not clogged and re-install the spray arm using the large screw. Please note that the spouts must be facing down. After installation, first manually rotate the spray arm by pushing the upper spray arm with your finger to check whether it runs smoothly. If it runs smoothly, then the problem is solved. THIS FIXED THE PROBLEM FOR ME! Try this remedy first. If you clean up the upper spray arm and it's still not rotating, contact the company directly on the Airmsen website and report the issue using the form on the Contact US page.
