the ferrule walls are a little thin but the do just fine. I accidentally cut two out of about thirty. The plastic sleeve on the bottom stay put really well, its just that they aren't soft or heat shrink or anything like that, they are really hard plastic. but that does help to cut them off if you don't want that sleeve so you can do a clean heat shrink over them. ... show more
