Perhaps best suited for sand blasting but it works well for automotive painting too - no fumes. I'm using a 1hp ambient air pump @ 6 -7 psi. Air curtains evenly through the helmet. I bought the Allegro Industries 9910-11 Low Pressure Flow Adapter with Belt and OBAC Fitting for ease of quick connecting/securing hose to waist. Also had to purchase a fitting to convert helmet hose thread to pipe thread for the OBAC fitting at the hardware store. Seems durable enough - but only used it a few times. ... show more

It fits perfectly and plenty of room for glasses inside hood. Also really like the removable lens cover that makes it easy to change plastic covers. I restore antique cars and it’s best I have had.
