I really liked the built in pump. It helped get the mattress inflated quickly. It also helped with removing the air when putting it away. The mattress does smell for awhile when you initially inflate it. It would be good to not plan on using it right away. As far as comfort level.. this is an air mattress so don't expect a lot and you won't be disappointed. With the built in pump you can easily add or remove air throughout the night.

I got this air mattress primarily for camping trips. We love camping in places like the mountains and national parks, but we’re also used to sleeping on a comfortable mattress at home. This mattress really helps upgrade camping from basic roughing it to a more comfortable “low-key glamping” experience. It’s great because you can either throw sleeping bags on top, or you can make it up like a real bed with flannel sheets and a down comforter, which makes for a more luxurious camping experience. I also got it because we occasionally have guests, and it’s nice to have a quality air mattress when there are more people staying over than our guest room can handle. One thing to keep in mind is that this mattress inflates to about 14 inches thick, which is great for comfort, but make sure your tent has enough interior height to accommodate it comfortably. The extra thickness definitely helps it feel more like a real mattress rather than a thin camping pad. One feature I really like is the built-in pump. You just turn it on and it quickly inflates the mattress to the right firmness. When you're ready to pack up, the pump also deflates the mattress quickly, which saves a lot of time and hassle so you don’t have to lay on the mattress and roll out the air. If you’re taking it camping, make sure you have a cigarette lighter power converter (or another power source) to plug into your car to run the pump. Also, a small tip: If using a cigarette lighter converter, be sure to bring an extension cord that can stretch all the way to your tent otherwise you will have to carry your fully inflated mattress to your tent and that can be a bit of a pain in the butt!!
