The Aiper S1 is a great starter robot for your pool. My pool is screened and has pop-up jets on the floor for cleaning, so I don't have a lot of debris to deal with, but the robot was still great for getting the fine material that get past. As with all technology, you must name your device - mine is called Slurpee. The unit has some weight to it, so be careful putting it in and out of the pool. Once in the water, it takes off and does it's thing! It is fun to watch it go around and clean! My pool is a freeform shape with an dished bottom, so I initially tried this using the recommended setting for that type of pool, including the random pattern. When using those settings, it seemed to keep cleaning the same spots over and over. I switched to a rectangular pool and the straightline pattern and it seemed to do much better. My pool has a swimout in the deep end, and some wide steps. When the robot climbed those areas, it would sometimes get stuck going back down due to the center of its backshell resting on the step and the treads not making contact with anything. It would eventually unstick itself and continue on, but I think if the backshell were redesigned in that area this wouldn't happen at all. This does a good job at cleaning the waterline tile. It comes up the wall and sits there at the waterline for a few seconds and scrubs the tile. This is probably my favorite part of the robot, as my waterline always has a line of debris. Charging is easy with the included charger. Word of waring - MAKE SURE THE RUBBER FLAP IS CLOSED before putting in the pool! I ALMOST dropped it in one time and caught it just before! A small dab of silicone grease on the charger jack will help prevent corrosion from starting there. My runtime to complete dead is usually about 3 hours. The basket came with a fine mesh filter. This did not seem to work that well, as I found a lot of debris bypassed the fine mesh filter but was caught by the outer basket. It just doesn't seem to seal well to the main basket. The App keeps track of cleaning time, however mine stopped tracking time randomly after one run, and hasn't started tracking again. Software bug? Overall if you are looking for a simple pool vacuum without a lot of bells and whistles, this one will work well for you.

Get this Robot for your pool! I had just left it in the pool less than 20min and it cleaned so much ! I had it on the floor setting only , but now that i actually read the manual it's so easy to put it on the setting you want , it went up onto the tanning bed and even the benches around the pool ! I am amazed .

Aiper is one of the most respected pool robot manufactuers in the business. Although they've diversified their products somewhat of late with a smart irrigation system they're still best known for their excellent pool cleaning products. In particular, their high end products rank among the best you can buy. This is a decidedly mid-range product but one that delivers a ton of performance at a very reasonable price point. It might not have all of the cutting edge AI technology on board, but the Scuba S1 might be the best combination of performance and value available. The Scuba S1 cleans walls, waterline and floor with powerful suction and scrubbing. It takes care of your debris with solid filtration and runs well over two hours on a single charge. At this price point, you give up some of the granular control of the higher end app powered products but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The Scuba S1 still has excellent navigation ('WavePath Navigation 2.0) but it does it all 'under the hood' where you don't have to concern yourself with it. All of the controls are on the device itself and you can choose from four modes: Auto, Eco, Floor Only and Wall Only. Aiper products are always extremely well made. You can just look at the Scuba S1--particularly the downright burly treads--and tell that it means business. It'll work great for pools up to 1600 square feet. It might not be 'state of the art' but it still takes care of most cleaning needs with minimal hassle and with a nice value price point attached. Highly recommended!

I bought a WyBot from Amazon which has a manufacturers warranty of 24 months. After about 18 months it seemed to charge but wouldn't switch on. I contacted WyBot with a few emails and I was asked to send a video of it not working! So I did a little video plugging it in, another showing it was charged and another showing that pressing the button didn't do anything! I found their number and called them. The guy said he would accelerate my claim and even said their shipping department was instructed to send me a new one...... Crickets!!!!!! Tried to call again but they had blocked my number. Called from a different number and got through to the same guy I talked to before and had the same crap he stated previously..... 4 weeks later they asked if I would accept a reconditioned unit! Hell no. What they don't know is that I complained to Amazon about them after 4 weeks and they immediately said they would refund my money. They sent me a zero value shipping label and I sent it back via UPS. Amazon will take my refund money from WyBot..... Sweet! Don't buy anything WyBot!

This pool robot works fantastically. I've had several Aiper pool robots, including models above and below this one and they all have worked great. This one is right in the middle and rivals some of the higher models. It covers floors, walls, and the water line. The robot is app controlled and Aiper's app is very user friendly. It conveniently maps for itself which really takes its cleaning ability to the next level. Suction/cleaning power has been more than adequate with an easy to empty filter. The filter has a two stages - one for large debris and the other for the ultra fine stuff. The app offers a few different cleaning modes to choose from like singling out floors, or a combination of floors and walls, etc. I've been very happy with the amount of run time for its size. The robot is able to cover a large area in one charge. Charge time is around 3.5 hours which is pretty standard for a robot of this size and ability. All in all, this robot is easy to use, cleans very efficiently all the way from floors to the water line, and it has a good amount of run time.
