So I recently opened my own barber shop and I needed something quick in a pinch. I ordered this item on a whim and it was actually really great! The bowl is plastic but has not only a neck rest but also a head rest inside of the bowl. The bowl is a soft rectangle shape rather than round which is amazing because it allows for more room for clients with longer hair. It doesn't feel confined or colostrophobic. It has predrilled holes on the back of the base which is amazing because my plumbing did not come out of the flooring. It has a small plastic shelf insert which can come out in the event you need to perform maintenance. It comes with cement anchors to keep it in place. I have wood floors so I just used construction screws. You will need to anchor it to the floor because of the shape and the way that weight comes into the seat. It acts like a seesaw if it's not mounted. It comes with its own hoses and P trap. I have to say... Out of all of the materials used, the handle and faucet are the best quality. The faux leather is nice and form fitted to the entire item. No creases or blemishes. Assembly was very straight forward. We had it together in less than an hour. Is this my final shampoo bowl? The bowl was poor quality. The water nozzle hose leaked and there was barely any water pressure. We ordered two only tried one. We had to wait to instal them due to construction and by time we tried it we were a few days past return time. Such a bummer to be stuck with these.

I purchased two of these chairs. One chair was used. The parts for both were something for a child's toy. VERY VERY CHEAPLY MADE!!! 3 home depot runs and still nothing. I contacted the seller. They offered to replace the parts. Still no parts. Then wait....if it's the same cheap arts it makes no difference. The threaded inserts were missing from the back of one chair so it wouldn't be get put together securely. These are huge items. I gave up and dealt with it because the seller is going back and forth with a $20 offer. Guys I paid $250 both chairs for parts to connect it to the water line and labor. 🤬. These shampoo bowls were installed a year ago today. So this is a real, genuine review. I have used these bowls every day. ZERO problems. They are comfortable, my clients lay in them and sleep all the time. They were super easy to assemble, I put them together and my uncle installed them. We did have to go to the hardware store one time for a small piece. If you are looking for something nice, not overpriced, and perfect for any hairstylist. Buy this one! ... show more

This has got to be the worst investment I have made for my salon. The seat is very uncomfortable for clients and water goes everywhere while washing the clients hair no matter what position they sit in. The design looks good but doesn’t work
