I bought for tent camping and not gardening. I need a place to sit inside tent for rest or to assist in getting dressed. Also needed something large enough but not too large and sturdy and with heavy weight limit. I also wanted assistance in getting up off air mattress on the floor. My best friend of over 50 years is in to gardening. She doesn't mind the dirt, the heat, the humidity, or the insects. As we are both mature ladies, her gardening endeavors have been severely reduced in the last couple of years. She thought she may have to stop after this spring and summer. I sent her this gardening kneel/seat for a birthday present. She can now get back up from the garden without help from her husband or family members. Her granddaughter also uses it for a "ballet bar". Or when her stuffed animals or one of her dolls get a "hurt", it flips over and becomes a stretcher to get them to the "nurse" for a bandage.
