I’m really impressed with these smart glasses! They’re lightweight, comfortable to wear, and the display is surprisingly clear. Unfortunately, the pair I received had a slight defect. It wouldn't go to sleep on command. Other than that, these glasses have, IMO, have a lot of potential. The AI is a little spotty, but the translation works well. The display is clear and they function well with the corresponding app. A little spit and polish... these glasses could rival the current topping smart glasses. ... show more

    • Teleprompter sucks
I bought this $400 pair of glasses to use as a teleprompter. I downloaded the app, paired it to my iPhone, and uploaded the file. It started and then stopped working a couple of paragraphs in. The operation isn’t hands-free as you have to either touch the glasses, which looks stupid, or turn pages on your phone, which only works for a couple of paragraphs. . I’m actually pretty astonished that a device like this, in this day and age, doesn’t use voice scrolling, a technology that’s been around for decades. I’ve packaged it up and I’m sending it back.     • Good introduction to AR glasses
A really good intro to the AR tech capabilities. However, in terms of build, the frame is on the bulky side with the frame being all plastic so the long term durability is questionable. As for the lens, the panel where the HUD is displayed is extremely visible from the "outside" and it is very distracting. The audio quality is on par with other smart glassess with good volume. Now, unfortunately I returned the glasses for these reasons: 1) Charging the glasses is done through a dongle that you would have to carry around and if that were to be lost then there are no replacements online for purchase, 2) There are no sunglass clip or option for use outside (there is a clip that you insert inside that could probably be used for sun glasses but you would have to custom make the lenses), 3) As others mentiones, you need to have the app constantly opened in the phone for it to work (not a huge deal breaker but its definitely annoying if you tend to "Close all apps" on your phone). Functionality-wise, if you are looking for a VERY simple UI that has navigation, active translation (it worked good) and lets you know when you have SMS, Facebook or Whatsapp messages then this is a really nice AR glass to have. Oh and the AI built in this app is alright, nothing special. ... show more

Title: Not a "Hands-Free" device Don’t let the easy setup fool you. While the app is simple, the functionality is non-existent because the Bluetooth connection doesn't persist in the background. If the app isn't open and active, the glasses are just paperweights. Add in a total lack of instructions for the AI features, and you’re left with an expensive gadget that provides no value. The microOLED screen looks quite clear, especially indoors and at night. The real-time translation feature works well for basic conversations, and the teleprompter is useful if you make videos or presentations.
