Every time I run across this series I have to read it. Charlotte going to a party with her friend was the beginning of her new life. Being abused by her brother for years Charlotte never thought it would ever end, but going with Heather to the club party brought her into Breakers' view. Even though she was dressed in baggy clothes there was something about her that drew Breaker in, he was feeling things he hasn't felt in a very long time he wanted to know her.But before he could talk to her she disappeared, the next time he saw her he was saving her from being hit by her brother. That was the beginning of his journey to find her and keep her safe,but before he could she was severely assaulted by her brother and ran to him for safety. This is where they their journey to each other truly began. As she grew healthy so did her feelings for Breaker and he has her just where he wanted her to be with him.     • Desperately needs editing
So I actually like the storyline. However the book had many many errors whether it be typos, misspelled words, or the sentence not making sense. Charlotte for being a Doctor could be unbelievable at times especially when she takes care of an abused woman and encourages her to report her husband, but she doesn't report her own brother and keeps going back for more. Have to shake your head at that one. As for Breaker he fell hard and fast for Charlotte. However what did he really think would happen to her when he beat up the brother. Things that drove me nuts: Repeating Breaker is the President Errors upon errors Lackluster sexy times President being a wimp Things I liked: Charlotte eventually being able to be happy Overall storyline Heather Tank I'll most likely read the next one, just hope the writing gets better. ... show more

    • So much missing.
First, I want to clear up something I read in a one star review. Claim Breaker gets oral from a club whore after meeting Charlotte. That's Not true. It's in the beginning of the book and before they meet. Now.... I felt like I was reading a rough draft of the book. There is so little character building that I feel zero between the main couple. No feeling, just words. There was too much time jump for such a short read. Like... 2 months later, 1 month later and the epilogue was 3 months later. ... show more

The storyline was interesting. I got frustrated with the h, because it took her so long to get out of her bad situation, and the reasons she had for staying felt a bit flimsy. I would have liked to see more character and plot development, since the characters’ HEA made sense, but I wasn’t completely sure how they got there. So, it was still an good book, not great, but solid. I’ll try out the next book in the series. ... show more

This time reading anything by this author. Nice strong and intriguing characters and the basic storyline has just enough tension to be entertaining.

First story I read by thus author I liked the characters. Breaker aka Mason is President of CSMC and his leading lady Charlotte is a doctor. She is also going through some awful things at home. The story moved too fast...and I felt key points were missing from the storyline. I felt the author could of gone into more depth with the storyline. I liked the characters of the story so I am hoping book two is better. I would recommend the author doing some research on MC's or motorcycle parts. I felt the story was thrown together without someone proofreading before hitting publish. Author gives us a glimpse of a kidnapping but it felt rushed and was missing the suspense and angst factor. MC Romance genre is one of favorites to read and I have read hundreds of MC books. I felt the author didn't do the research on "biker" terminology, motorcycle parts etc. Overall 3 stars! It was a cute story, I loved the main characters especially how alpha the president was. The book was a bit rushed but not enough to take away from the story. It did bug me how the women kept going back and didn’t fight for herself until the very end but it is worth the read and I highly recommend it. ... show more

WOW...this was great story it held my interest and could not put down. Breaker and Charlotte, a good start to this series. Need lots more on this group. Charlotte has a twin brother that is abusing her even tho she is a doctor trying to help other she can't seem to walk away for her twin.
