I have been looking for a wireless microphone that I can use when I went to record far away from my iphone. It's hard to pick up sound if you are not near your phone and these do a great job at noise cancellation and also being a wireless microphone in the process. For the price point, it's hard to beat and it provides much clearer sound than if I was standing far away while recording! This lavalier mic is exactly what it appears to be. It is super simple to use, really inexpensive, and offers great sound quality on a budget. If you are looking for something to record interviews to your phone or make social media videos, this works well. I like the three connections options too so I know I can integrate it into any setup I am traveling with. These audio parts have gotten so affordable nowadays that good audio can be gotten for cheap. These aren't podcast quality lavs, but for the audience they're aimed at, they're perfect. If you find yourself shooting video on your phone out of mic distance, these will match the quality of a good facetime call. The mics sync instantly and seamlessly, with the overall UI being really good. The included noise cancelling is actually quite good and I would advise leaving it on. For the price, these really can't be beat. The inclusion of type C across the board here does a great job of keeping these future-proofed. Originally it didn't work with my Motorola, yet worked immediately with my girlfriend's iPhone, leading me to believe it was incompatible with my phone. In the manual that it comes with, it says the only Android brand it is compatible with is Samsung, leading me to initially give it a 1-star review and nearly return it. However, I did some research and it turns out that Android phones require you to activate external mics by pressing the little microphone button in the camera app screen as shown in the attached pictures.     • Works great but have to know how to use it
The mic sound quality is excellent for the price you pay. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because the instructions didn't explain what I'm about to. The Holy Spirit told me when this should have been in the manual. Just be wise and get the warranty if you can. At first, I was having trouble. I used it on my Apple devices. The mic and receiver paired like the manual said, but there was no sound. I discovered two things. 1. If you turn it on before plugging it in, the receiver automatically turns off after you insert it into your device. Double check to make sure that green light is on before you start recording. 2. If you try to listen to what you just recorded with the receiver still plugged in you won't hear anything, at least that's how it was on my iPhone AND iPad. When you want to hear what you just recorded, unplug the receiver and you'll be able to get the audio. Your audience was able to hear you, too. ... show more

I used this mic for recording a vidoes on my mirrorless camera. It was simple to setup, as in, just plug and play. I had a fan blowing on my while recording the video and th noise cancelling never picked up the fan. Sound quality impressed my video editor. All in All... extremely happy with this purchase.
