This is a very nice tool - it fits the hand well, is sturdy, has a very nice knife edge and maybe the best saw edge yet on a garden tool. It easily cuts through roots underground. It is narrow enough to use as a weeder like a dandelion tool, yet wide enough for small bulb planting and a lot of other uses. I just used it to harvest leeks, sawing through the mass of roots like nothing else would. I can easily carry it in my back pocket and use it for different things as I work around the yard and garden. The built-in measure is nice for planting. Very versatile and easy to clean.

I have prickly flat weeks with deep roots that are impossible to get. This tool is amazing, Stab it in, pry them up easily in one large piece, root at all. I have clay rocky soil and had no issues with the most difficult weeds. I’m so happy!!!! This tool is so useful I also use the saw edge while out gardening and an unexpected need arises. I have a large property one tool that does so much means I’m not lugging a ton or having to walk all the way back to the garage. Handle fits well in my hand and it feels very sturdy. I will be praising this handy tool as much as possible it’s better than any other weeder I’ve tried by far.

Love this weeder! Easy to use. Very sharp and cuts thru the ground with ease. Construction could be a tad better as my husband had reinforce the blade to the handle as the blade was starting to disconnect from the handle. It was still usable even with the loose blade, tho. Loved this weeder so much as soon as I started using it that I bought another one! Now we have two!

I'm able to dig out the weeds and stubborn roots from narrow gaps between pavements. Well made and easy to handle. The tip is thin enough to get into those tight spaces. Which meant it will not withstand excessive hitting or digging on hard objects like rocks and bricks. I got too carried away and bend the tip just a little. It's hardly noticeable. I'm really happy with the tool.

No idea why this item gets the negative reviews, but then checking the pics I can see they are completely different items and not for the Hand weeder tool which is the only item available here at this moment in time. Having started my gardening 'experience' only last year, as I only lived in capital cities around the world, I knew about the chemical solutions you apply on weeds but not about this item which is handier bearing in mind I have to remove weeds around our koi carp pond the previous owner could not be bothered to do: 1. It has a strong wood, long grip with a leather string you can easily put it on the wall hook, if you like hanging all the tools you have acquired, where electric or not 2. The blade itself is rather long yet strong and I tried using it when I received it yet at no point I put the whole length in the ground as it was not necessary: some weeds have long roots hence cutting the ground delicately in the shape of an ice cream cone, some roots are located more towards the surface and this 'surgical tool' worked like magic. I read reviews about this tool snapping in two and I doubt if you have the delicate hands of a woman or care about your tools you can actually destroy it. I always say to myself: treat everything the way you would like to be treated - maybe that is why I have clothes looking amazing since I was a teenager. 3. Finally, the price is way better than the long tool you use standing which is 4 times more expensive and does not give you the 'surgical' optics this tool gives you: yes, you have to bend with this small tool and is not good for my back with my arthritis and sciatica but how many times are you going to bend for the same weed Update: several months later and I noticed weeds still come out from the same place where I dug the previous weeds, however deep I dug in the ground. I would recommend to rather use a liquid solution for weeds rather than destroy the grass and use this tool in the mulch area only.

It’s great! I am able to cut landscape garden fabric with this tool. I can also measure the depth of my hole, which I usually dig out with an ordinary small garden shovel. It’s not really for digging large holes, but if your garden bed is already ready with loosened soil for growing plants, it’s easy to use for moving small amounts of dirt to plant your garden small tomato or pepper plants. I also used it to measure the depth of the hole for planting tubular flowers, and it’s great for measuring hole depth for flower bulbs. It’s not made for digging big holes, but great for planter beds. I love using it!

Worked great for our dandilions for a few hours, and then somewhere along the way one of the tips broke off. And then somewhere along the way the other one bend back. I ended up switching to a sturdier tool for the rest of the weeds, but I feel like this tool is still good. I could probably even use it still, just for smaller weeds. Handle is a little short. Bummer it broke for the price though, if it was a little cheaper it would make more sense .
