I purchased this A/C unit to supplement the central A/C in my home,and keep the big one from running 24/7,as it is not the most efficient cooling system I've ever had. I pretty well knew what to expect from having a similar portable A/C in my old house. This unit is easy to set up and delivers allot of cold air for its size.The remote works well and I have not had any trouble with the unit or remote so far. I only have 3 negative comments to share after using this A/C for a week now. One,the remote does NOT come with batteries;so you will need to have a couple of AAA's on hand ,which,luckily,I did. Two,the window assembly for the exhaust had to be trimmed to fit my window,as the piece that slides out was too long. Not a big deal for me personally--5 minutes of measuring and trimming with a hacksaw did the trick. Three,again,not a problem for me,but the instructions for assembling the window/exhaust pieces were all but non-existent. There is a set screw to attach the plastic oval piece to the actual window piece,and a metal slider lock with wing nut that has to be fitted into the groove on the slider piece,but absolutely NO instructions on how they fit. I figured it out fairly quickly,but I can see where a novice would be in the dark as far as assembling the exhaust/window assembly and being able to use this A/C. So,for that reason,I scored this unit 4 stars due to lack of detailed assembly instructions. The noise level is pretty well what I expected and similar to the other unit I had for over three years--not jet engine loud,but don't expect to have a quiet conversation when it is running. The unit cools very well and as I stated before,delivers allot of cold air for its size. So far I can see a big difference in how much my central A/C unit kicks on,and that goes a long way here in the southwest where the highs hover around the triple digit area for two or three months straight in the summer months. Much more affordable for an Alexa-Based AC than the competition. It’s pretty loud but it works well. I can turn it on while on the road if my pets need it. The only issue I have found is that sometimes it looses the Wi-Fi. Not too big of a deal it’s about 2 mins to fix. I’m honestly impressed.

I love my AC it worked perfectly a lil loud for me at first but got used to the noise. It’s not that bad. There’s times It was over 95 degrees outside and I didn’t even know it since I was under the blankets in my room with it on lol

Does the job. A little loud and virtually no instructions to set up. I had to use a plastic saw to cut the window insert. The app works pretty well although it keeps requesting location access which is weird. All that said I bought a second one for a different room, worth it for the price point.
