I settled on this sprayer after sifting through quite a few of them because of the number of accessories in addition to the capacity you get for the money. Even though at the time I'd felt four gallons was overkill I'm relieved I got this size after having sprayed post-emergent on about 15,000 sqf of turf. This was my first backpack sprayer, so I don't have anything to compare it to objectively and so I can only provide feedback on my experience thus far. The backpack is understandably hefty, given its size, though by no means a burden. I managed to carry it around for around two hours going through several refills because I'd underestimated just how much product I'd need for the lawn. The straps held up well, sitting comfortably on my shoulders distributing weight evenly. The tank itself provides markers to distinguish weight, though it can be somewhat difficult to sight without proper lighting. I ended up using this sprayer some months after receiving it and as a results I may have lost five out of the six nozzles this comes with, and only realized I was missing them after taking it for a run. Agricas was kind enough to ship me them at no cost and I'm looking forward to to my next session knowing the variety of nozzles I have at hand and my experience thus far.

The media could not be loaded. I like the sprayer but I have not been able to use because it was missing the "Lance assembly" which essential for use. You cannot connect the sprayer to the hose without it. Because it's been more than 30 days, Amazon will not return it. I'm very disappointed! Update: I contacted Agricas directly. They were very helpful and sent me the missing pieces free of charge. I was able to use it to sray weed killer. It worked perfectly. I have to play with the flow rate controller because it is running fast. It's an excellent sprayer.

Caution! I'm pretty sure I was sent a pre-opened, defective item. Upon receiving the package, I could immediately tell that it looked like the box had been re-taped from the original packaging. The box had dings and scratches as well. Also making note, that is was double boxed for shipping, so I don't think it could have been shipping damage. When I opened the box, pieces were just stuffed randomly, one of the extra spray nozzles was broken, and there were small scuffs on the body of the backpack. It only took me about 5 minutes to assemble the hoses and spray nozzle, so I thought I give it a test with some water. Immediately, water was leaking out of the entire bottom where the tank attaches to the battery compartment. The instructions read to dismantle the battery compartment piece from the tank to check for and tighten loose hoses or fittings. Upon removing the battery compartment for starters the plastic in the back where the battery sits was broken in two places. It then took no time to discover the plastic "L" shape fitting on the pump that transfers the liquid from the tank to the hose line to the sprayer was snapped right in half. The bracket that the pump is mounted on was also completely snapped in half. Unfortunately, I had to request an immediate return. I just hope nobody else gets this same item sent to them.

Who buys an electric battery powered 4 gallon capacity sprayer? Anyone who has owned or used a 4 gallon lever action pump sprayer! This sprayer has everything I was looking for. The battery is a small sealed lead acid battery that ships installed. I've used this sprayer a few times now and the battery life is exceptional. After a 4 gallon use, it recharged in about 5 minutes. The force of the spray is adjustable and there are multiple different spray tips for whatever type of job you need to tackle. Also, truthfully it is really nice not to have to be constantly pumping that handle relentlessly. I have a 12 acre property with lots of fences and That Is A Lot Of Pumping! If you like to pump your sprayer -- call me and I will make you a smoking deal on my old one!

We were stoked about this sprayer, it worked beautifully offering an even spray and consistent pressure. Sadly we went to use it yesterday and midway through the yard it stopped working. Once we investigated we found the battery had expanded drastically and was no longer safe to use. Now, after only having it for 10 months, we will have to search for a replacement battery and be cautious about storing this item in our home. I’d assume its a known issue which is why its no longe available but if looking into similar items please exercise caution with the batteries.
