First off. Love the feel of it in my hand. Very light and seemingly durable. Have not taken it to the field as of today upon receiving it. But, it will get tested. May have to add more info later on that. Notably, it does come with 2 batteries and a charger that is fantastic. It has a digital interface that is very user friendly. After messing with it for a few min, I managed to clear the fuzzy image quality. The focus adjustment on the front of the device seemingly was stuck at first, but I handled it gently, and it did turn eventually. After that.....Image quality was amazing! I have owned several different types of thermals before, and this by far is the most advanced and technologically superior to all others. It performed like a champ outside in the dark. The rendered image was crisp and lots of detail in the objects giving off heat. Heavy foliage no problem. The rendering capabilities of this device is truly out of this world. You can walk with this and see everything in front of you, even things that do not give off much of a heat signature. Terrain was very vivid and lively even in complete darkness. Love the removable batteries. The battery door could use a little tweaking. But other than that it seems like I'm going to get a lot of use out of this monocular spotting those coyotes. ... show more

Very clear. The more you zoom the less clear it gets. Great for 100-150 yards beyond that I would most likely get the 25-384 .
