The NVG-50 uses optics which give it a wider 51 degrees field of view with the tradeoff of shorter eye-relief. The NVG is made of a compact composite housing for durability, and features advanced multi-coated optics. The device can be outfitted with either a Gen 2+ or Gen 3 high- performance image intensifier tube (IIT). The bright light cut-off feature ensures that the high-quality photocathode tube is protected.
