The media could not be loaded. I bought it since I am going through classes for long hours from home. I did not want to spend too much on the desk and remain as close to 100 dollars as possible with ample space for my 27-inch, 24-inch, PC case, and other accessories as you can see from the pictures and the video. It is very silent while going up and down, however it is slower than another standing desk that my partner uses for office work. That is a 48 x 24 (different cheap brand and for ~130 dollars). This desk being 55x24 inches for the same ~130 dollars after taxes is serving its purpose well. Assembly was easy and took about 20-30 minutes (one person). A few things that would have knocked it out of the park, I am Nitpicking here since I have already had an experience with other options out there: 1. Would have loved it if it came with caster wheels, had to spend 20 bucks extra to add them for it to move freely on the carpet for easy vacuuming. 2. Be wary of the edges of the tabletop, they are POINTY! easy to scrape or scratch your skin if you are not cautious. 3. Needs to be slightly sturdier and stronger, as the countertop is 0.59-0.6 inches thick so, I had to add a 1x2 to attach my monitor stand. 4. Speaking of being sturdier, the countertop needs a little more support/connections between 2 halves of the countertop. It is strong but could have done with a little more. 5. One last thing, is wobble, which on a carpet is going to happen, hence I added wheels to prevent it from wobbling too much when it was without. One thing that I absolutely love about it is that the motor under the tabletop is OUT of the way and I do not hit my knees on it like the other desk. Another is it is VERY quiet going up and down. Overall a great desk with slight things that leave you wanting a little more. Hence 4 stars. Hope this helps. ... show more
