Took about 20 minutes to assemble, would have been faster with help. Seems sturdy enough, I've had desks of near similar construction last for over 8 years so far (they're still in service), and I have no reason to believe this will be any different. What is different, however, are the built-in power outlets, which have cut so much clutter out from under the desk, and make it so much easier to charge phones and other devices directly on the desk, as well as powering all three monitors. I think more desks need power outlets. The drawers are interesting cloth-like things, but plenty sturdy enough, and could be removed if you wanted to squeeze a computer tower in or something. The L-shape shelves can be swapped to the other side if you want a different orientation than the one pictured by default; which is exactly what we did. The instructions for doing so were plainly written, but it really doesn't take a rocket surgeon to figure it out. ... show more

I selected this L-shaped desk by Huuger for my husband's gaming nook and he fell in love immediately. The desk was simple to assemble and was what my husband calls "an easy build". I was instantly jealous of his multiple power outlets and drawers. Huuger really knocked the ball out of the park with this one. The desk is sturdy and provides ample space for his monitors, gaming console, and boom arm/mic. It is well worth the $129.99 (which is the asking price at the time of this review) and I would highly recommend it for a home office. 5 stars, hands down. ... show more

Assembly was easy. From unboxing to setup it was about 40 minutes. Overall, the desk is nice, and I love the power strip built in. However, being tall guy, and depending on your computer chair size, it does not leave a lot of leg space.
