Pros: If you’re looking for a durable desk for moderate use in your home to check emails in the evening, finish school work, or search the web, then this desk is a great option available at a reasonable price. The pictures on the page are very close to the color of the actual product. The desk arrived on in 2 days even though this item was fulfilled by the seller. We were originally given a 7-10 day delivery period. Great job with the quick, speedy delivery. The desk is about 80lbs so it is sturdy but is still easy to move into place on your own. Cons: As with all “build it yourself” furniture, the instructions were 2 stars a best but that’s only because they provided pictures. The hardware package includes a few extra of each so if you end up like I did, you’ll have extra hardware and wondering if you got everything put together correct. (99% It’s done correctly). The desk is composite material so I am worried if a drink is spilled or left on it, then we will have spotting occur. There are about 25-30 individual pieces with this so the majority of your time will be figuring out witch piece is which. Drawers are not as deep or wide as we were expecting. Awesome desk! I was very nervous about assembly because of the other reviews, but it honestly was not bad-especially if you’ve put furniture together before. I assembled it myself (30 year old female) in about 2 hours. I ended up whipping out the drill which made it go a lot faster. I thought the directions were really clear. It’s very heavy and sturdy and doesn’t feel cheap at all. The wood and the hardware are great quality. Nothing broke while assembling which has happened to me before with cheaper materials. I wanted a rustic desk to go with the interior of our timber frame home. This desk works well in the space and has good surface space. Pros: •Easy to assemble - two of us had it built in less than an hour. •Good surface space. •Feels very sturdy. •Good price point. Pros: It arrived on time and in good condition. We were pleased to realized how well-packed the desk came in. The desk is a good size, surprisingly sturdy, and the plywood has a natural dark wood finish(not real). It is fairly easy to assemble approx. under an hour. All pieces are included (without backup ones). The two drawers were completely flushed to the edgy of the desk (unlike other comments) after assemble. Cons: Do not use a drill for cabinets as the plywood is paper thin and the holes are not visible so It might cause some damage. Keep in mind the HEIGHT of the desk including the drawers is 30 inch. It is a good length but it can be a slightly short for some people - Not a deal-breaker once you get used to it. Overall it is a good purchase for what you are paying for. ... show more

Beautiful, sturdy desk with lots of workspace and modern functionality! This desk has a lot of strength and stability for being particleboard. The vinyl wood detailing covering the particleboard is very realistic and looks great. Setup and assembly was very straightforward and didn’t take long at all. The desk was delivered much more quickly than anticipated, which normally is awesome but it was raining when delivered. Luckily the carrier left it in a covered outdoor area in front of the house, but a very tiny back corner of the top of the desk got a little warped. It’s a small cosmetic issue but hardly noticeable being that it’s on the back side of the desk. Overall this desk is very reasonably priced and excellent quality. ... show more

    • Product is NOT easy to assemble. Item is heavy/awkward and difficult to return.
This is a very cute desk however if you order from Amazon as the seller of the item, the company will NOT replace broken or damaged parts. I received this desk very late due to the package being lost in transit. When I received it on my front door, I could barely get it into my home because it is heavy and awkward to carry/move. When I opened the package I took inventory of all pieces, and unfortunately the outside edge of the top appeared to be a little smashed due to being dropped. I contacted Amazon who told me to contact the company who makes the product. When contacting the company, I was advised since I did not purchase the product from the company itself, they would not send me a replacement top. I decided not to return it because 1) it was so heavy and awkward to carry and move, and 2) the UPS store is a far drive for me and my vehicle is too small to accommodate such a long, large item. I chose to keep the desk and just assemble it. While looking at the directions for assembly I felt it was going to take me way too long (not the 60 minutes it claims). I love this desk. Yes, it's particle board and laminate. But if you want something like this in real wood you'll pay over $1,000 for it. For the price it's sturdy and attractive. Even more, it was a pleasure to assemble it. I've put together a lot of furniture, and this is the first one I've done where the instructions were detailed and clear and everything fit together just like it should. I think it's the first time I've put something like this together and didn't curse even once. It did take me about four hours to do it, but it was time well spent.
