I bought this makeup brush holder because I'm always doing my makeup on the go and I have some very expensive makeup brushes and don't want them to get ruined . This makeup brush holder is made out of silicone and holds quite a few bigger fat headed fluffy brushes at a time! Or a bunch of little eye type brushes. What I love how easy it is to clean! Because I use wet and dry brushes with my foundation, bronzer, highlighter etc and the makeup comes off my brushes onto the holder and all I have to do is flip it inside out and use some soap and wash it and let it dry! Definitely one of my favorite makeup addition purchases!

I was originally fearful that the red would be too in-your-face red, but it's a much softer red than this harsh, dark red pictured. It works great. My only concern is that it is overly large and long. I could put 3 times the make-up brushes I have (and I thought I had lot!) in this. Plus, it's about 2 inches longer than my longest make-up brush, making this a space hog and I don't have the space for it in my make-up kit. That's too bad, because it is beautiful and functional. Edited: I decided to keep this after all, as I didn't find a replacement of this quality. It's a bit big, but I'll deal with it. I absolutely love the closure, as it snaps shut and stays securely closed, but opens and stays open when I want it to do so. In fact, I have ordered a second one to hold all my little makeup items, like mascara, lip gloss, eyebrow wands, etc.
