These chairs are simple to put together. My two small children helped put the washers and screws together and then tightened the screws on. You receive an allen wrench for each chair, which is wasteful. The chairs are comfortable. We're using them for our diningroom table and one is being used as a desk chair. My toddler did use a red Bic roller pen on the back of one chair and that just wiped off. I spotted it fairly quickly though. He also used an all weather pen on one and I can not get it off with anything. All food or liquids have been able to be wiped off and I haven't noticed any stains from foods like spaghetti sauce or blueberries. I wish they came in a set of two, but for the price I paid it's a steal for four. They don't look cheap and I really like the look with our table. I kept the legs the neutral color they come with, but they could be painted as the legs are metal. I would definitely recommemd and have already ordered an additional set. ... show more

For the price, I love these chairs! I painted the legs black (they are metal so it was super easy to do before assembling). I didn’t love the “wood” look at all but it could match with different decor. They are crazy comfortable. I did add scratch pads to the bottoms, they were leaving black marks in my lighter flooring. I had to hand cut each one because the feet are so thin. However, totally doable. I’ve had them now for multiple months (with a kid) and they are as good as the day I got them. These chairs were purchased due to the pricing! Perfect for chairs that cost twice as much somewhere else like target or any other retailers. But I have to be honest the chairs look cheap compared to others. Mine came with a few bubbles like lifted leather in one chair. The color is more of a dirty brown than whiskey and the feel is not leather more like off. For the price the chairs are nice but not for the quality. Took off one star because one of them has an uneven leg. But otherwise these were very easy to assemble. They come well packaged. Look absolutely beautiful with my new mid century modern table. These are also very comfortable. Great value.

Our only problem is that they're a little on the small side and the cloth bunched up a little bit at the inside seam where you'd sit. Over time, we were afraid it would get worse. I got a set of four of these chairs for my dining room because I loved to faux leather look to them. They look as good if not better than the photos, and it took me 20 minutes to assemble all four of them. Metal legs feel sturdy and the chairs themselves are not too bad to sit it.
