Lightweight design with a working load limit of 13,000 lbs (ultimate failure is over 55,000 lbs) capable of standard recovery ops in off road and other situations. (Safer than attaching tow strap to a receiver ball) Fits all standard 2 inch receivers and 3/4 screw pin shackle rings. I am first to admit that I ordered this hitch because it is USA made and it did not disappoint. Solid aluminum and is not too heavy. Time will tell if it strong enough when I have to use it but fingers crossed I don't have to. However, I am confident that it will able to serve its purpose when it needs to be used. Yes, it is a little spendy but I know I won't get tired of looking at it because it does look like a functional art piece. While the shackle block seems well made, I had to have a friend at a custom fabrication shop shave a little off each corner in order to make it fit. Other things fit in the receiver just fine. I have no idea why this needed to be trimmed. I think it will work fine, but it shouldn't need mods to work. ... show more
