The media could not be loaded. This is a well-made hammock, with heavy-duty, synthetic fabric. When it gets wet, you can give it a shake and a wipe or leave it to air dry. I didn’t want a cushioned one because those don’t dry as quickly and I thought they might be more prone to mildew. With this one you can wear your shoes and not worry about getting it dirty or even muddy, you just hose it off. It’s well-made and strong, and the straps allow you to snug it up if it gets too slack. It comes with everything you need to get started between some trees. I really like the colors (gray & white stripes) because it is attractive while not drawing attention or making our campsite look trashy. Speaking of camping, I wanted the cross-poles at the ends to be foldable/collapsible to make it easier to store & transport. The poles come in two pieces that you put together and then slide in through a sewn sleeve, with each end of the pole fitting into a little pocket. The second end was pretty hard to put in. I wasn’t strong enough but my friend and her boys managed to get the ends in using a pry tool for leverage, and the result is having a very tight, flat hammock. This style hammock is very different than the kind that enclose you, I am not comfortable in the the type you sink into. Finally, this hammock is very wide and as a short person (I am 5’3”) there are some drawbacks to the wide width. It takes a little extra dexterity to reach the middle and get balanced, and also to stay balanced while reaching off the side to get your cup of coffee, book, etc. It might be a little too wide for me, but I think it’s a great hammock and I love that my friend can fit with her two boys.

Everything about this hammock is great except for one thing ..... it's way too short! They list it as 76 inches long but it's only 73 (6' 1") between the bars. I am 5' 10" and it's too short for me, I am either hitting my head or my feet. It's a shame because this is very well made, has great features, and is comfortable.

Everything was great until one of the ropes ripped off of it while I was laying on it. Dries fast after a rain, is super cute and comfy but doesn’t seem like it’s going to last now that I’ve had it for a couple months.
