This bed was very to assemble. The crossbars were weird. The way they laid across each other was different and then the wooden pieces to lay across were stapled incorrectly so it was hard to lay down. I purchased this bed frame in February and had it professionally assembled in March for use in a guest room. It sat unused until last night, its very first night of actual use, when it completely collapsed with a single adult guest sleeping on it (approx. 5’7”, 160 lbs). The middle of the frame gave out suddenly during the night. My guest was shocked and understandably uncomfortable. Upon inspection, I discovered that there is no center support beneath the bed, something that should absolutely be standard. The metal bars and bolts are bent, and the wooden slats are extremely thin, flimsy, and appear to be low quality composite rather than real wood. I had concerns about the frame’s sturdiness even after it was assembled, but since it was intended for only occasional use, I didn’t return it. That was clearly a mistake. This product lasted less than 6 months, failed after one night, and is not salvageable. For the $150 I paid, this level of quality is completely unacceptable. I will be attaching photos as soon as possible. I do not recommend this bed frame under any circumstances, it is poorly manufactured, lacks critical support, and frankly, poses a safety hazard. I am extremely disappointed and hope the seller addresses this issue properly. ... show more
