This product is literally the GOAT of my entire hair care routine. I absolutely love it. For me and my hair type (thick, frizz prone, kind of in between type 2B and 2C curl), this product allows me so much freedom with how I style my hair. I have a Dyson airwrap that I use with this product pretty regularly. It’s how I got the curls I have in the picture attached. This products sprays like a mist and doesn’t leave my hair feeling crunchy. I use it on both wet and dry hair depending on what stage in my weekly hair care routine that I am in. First wash of the week- I use it before drying on wet hair to help detangle and give heat protection from my Dyson dryer. I use it again after my hair is dry to help detangle (my hair is pretty long 20+ inches) and give heat protection from whatever styling tool I use next. I do also use it even when I let my hair air dry just for how easily it helps to detangle my hair. It helps refresh my hair without soaking it in between washes and give just the right amount of moisture to help me use my Dyson airwrap and actually achieve the curl I want without it just falling out. This products doesn’t have a very strong scent, in my opinion, but it does have a ‘product-y’ scent, like a leave in conditioner. It isn’t bad and doesn’t linger so I have no issues with the scent. Again, it doesn’t leave my hair feeling crunchy and doesn’t soak my hair like using water as a mist would. It actually leaves my hair feeling very soft. Now with repeated use, it will build up on a brush if you don’t clean your hair tools regularly. So I would definitely recommend cleaning your hair brushes/combs regularly if you plan to use this product daily. I clean mine once every week to two weeks. Depending on the amount of visible buildup. When traveling, this is the one product I absolutely can not go without.

I have very fine hair that gets very tangled when I wash it, even if I use regular conditioner in the shower. This spray is very effective and with it my hair detangles easily, I don’t have to use much at all. I’ve used it for several years and I’m so happy Amazon sells it! My hair is not left greasy looking, or heavy. It’s an amazing product. I recommend it for kids with long hair.

I developed severe seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp about a year and a half ago, and since then have gone through so many products (and money) trying to find a leave-in conditioner that would 1.) help detangle my hair and 2.) not aggravate my seb. derm. This product checks both of those boxes, and then some! I love how light weight it is, as my hair is very fine and can easily be weighed down by heavier products. It doesn’t leave any greasy residue either, which is a plus. It works well to detangle my very long, thick but fine, color-treated blonde hair. The only thing I don’t love is how expensive it is, but I will say they do give you a LARGE bottle that lasts awhile.

I have bleached, damaged hair, so I was thrilled to find a well reviewed product with Amodimethicone as the second ingredient… only to find out they’ve changed the formula and removed it in favor of some quartenium silicones that just don’t work for my hair as well as Amodimethicone does. It’s probably still a great product if your hair isn’t bleached or severely damaged, but sadly not for me.
