Nice headlights, complete and ready to install. While I reat most of the reviews and was skeptical, I order these anyway. I received them in 5 days through snail mail, very impressive. I wasn't expecting them for a minimum of 7 days. Mail being what it is. One thing many people mentioned was how easy they broke. With this knowledge I slowly tightened all bolts evenly,no problems there. Next was aligning them... without directions. It appears that the long bolts, which take a small socket, are to lock the lights in place. The torx bit bolts are used for the actual alignment. After figuring this out it went smoothly. Waiting for dusk/dark to fine tune them. Overall time approximately 1 hour, removing the grill. They apear to be sealed correctly though one headlight was installed incorrectly and not seated flush. Overall I would rate this ad a 3-4 out of 5 for mechanical aptitude required. Some.bolts are hidden to remove the grill, after that is was simple. Taking your time is key. ... show more

Product was shipped in a timely manner. They fit perfectly. The backing plate was a nice addition. Many may not need these but I ended up having to use them. Very pleased with my purchase.

    • Nice looking but some quality issues
I bought these replacement lights for my son's truck......his were years past due for being replaced. These looked good, and appear to be identical to the ones that came out, but I did have some slight issues getting them installed. As noted by some other reviewers, the holes did not line up properly........in my case it was the outer most hole on both sides. My son has a monster brush guard Ranch Hand type grill protector that would have had to be removed in order to remove the grill assembly so that was not an option. I chose to remove these lamps from the backing plate as shown in several videos since the lights were only dull from age and not damaged. This allowed the existing backing plate to be used. The inward most bolt on both lights was exact but the outer most bolt hole must have been a good 1/8" out of alignment. To get mine to work I had to leave the inner most bolt out, have the lamp angled out slightly from the grill, get the "bad" bolt started and then push the lamp in and get the second bolt in place. Took some doing and got it in place, but without exercising care it would be easy to crack the light and have to start over. While this was a nuisance it in no way detracts from the fact that these lights are a bargain. At $50 bucks for the pair when dealer was 3 - 4 times that PER LIGHT makes these lights a no brainer. Even if they only last a few years and eventually crack from stress and need replacing again.........it would still be a good deal. And changing only the lights and not the mounting plate makes this literally a ten minute job for both lights together. Just a few minutes and the truck looks like a different animal. Now........to get a set of the parking lights and get them changed out........... I would highly recommend these lights if yours are dimmed and yellowed from age. I tried it all.......toothpaste, the fancy rubbing compound lens cleaning kits......all were jokes. Just spent the $50 bucks and enjoy being able to see with your headlights again. ... show more

Replacement worked fine with my 1991 Chev C1500 Silverado. I was surprised to see it came with bulbs! Good value. Straight forward install. Don't forget to realign your headlamps afterward.

These headlights are just as good as the ones that come from GM. Only had a problem fitting one of the housings into its place. I just replaced the new housing with an old one and everything works great. I expected much less quality for the price I was paying and to my surprise they were just as good as the lenses I took out (minus the haze.) It shipped extremely fast. Wasn't expecting it for at least 3 more days when it arrived. One of the best purchases I've made on Amazon. ... show more

I had water in my right headlight, seriously half full of water. Nice to have sealed lights that are new and clear. Shipping was fast but FedEx not too bright. I would recommend this seller.
