they are just like any other circle hook you can buy at your local walmart or bait store except cheaper price.they seem to be heavy duty and have a nice point on them.i havent got to use them yet but im sure they are of good quality or i wouldnt have bought them.

Hooks are nice, sizes are smaller by about 2 or 3, 8/0s are more like other manufacturer's 5/0s. But they are good hooks ina nice case, sharp. i will use for saltwater live and dead bait snapper/grouper fishing. Good variety and value.

We used these on a recent camping trip. We used the 4/0 and 5/0 sizes wacky rigged with an o-ring on 5” yum dingers. Between the kids and I, we were able to catch 10 largemouths on this set-up. No heavy hook set needed, just apply pressure by reeling or lifting the rod and the circle hook does all the work. They were all hooked in the corner of the mouth, which is safer for both you and the fish. I just want to note that these are offset hooks. If you find that you are gut-hooking fish with them, you can use a pair of pliers to bend them to line up with the shank to make them inline hooks. It's very easy to do. ... show more
