I bought a new Whiteside Manufacturing creeper intending to use it on broomed concrete. It came with hard plastic wheels. It was difficult to use as it was constantly getting stuck and the wheels were getting quickly destroyed. Installed these wheels and the difference is almost hard to believe. It's actually usable now. I don't get why they use such terrible wheels. Probably slightly cheaper, of course. Installation was a bit of a debacle. The original wheels needed a very thin 32mm wrench to back up the caster while loosening. I didn't have that or a way to make one so I drilled the heads off the barrel nuts. Turns out they had also used a bit of threadlock so I'm not sure they would have come out even if I had the right wrench. The nuts were soft and pretty easy to drill. These new casters required a thin 14mm wrench to back the caster when tightening. Didn't have that either so I ground down a regular wrench. It was worth it despite all the trouble.

I bought these to replace the cheap plastic wheels on my garage stool. They work great and have held up to rolling around the concrete floor inside and outside. I plan on buying another set to upgrade the wheels on my shop vac. The roll so much easier than the plastic wheels and roll over medium duty extension cords and other small obstacles with ease.

These casters are amazing. I used them to replace six different creepers and seats (multiple orders). I can’t believe I didn’t do this sooner. The hardware provided for some many different installations. Really versatile kit. Now I can move much easier around the shop.
