I really like the fact it is made of real wood and not manufactured or pressed "wood," which makes it very sturdy (I'm Male 285 pounds) so that was important! Disappointed that only one end has a footboard and the other end is completely open. In the pictures on the website, only the side with the footboard was shown, the other "open" side was not and I foolishly "assumed" it would have a footboard on EACH side. Very underhanded to not include a picture of the "OPEN" side of the bed frame. Also, the drawers are on wheels which roll ok on carpet but aren't always square when closing and as a result, the left corner of the drawer front cracked in half simply closing the drawer and the drawer hitting crooked since it is on wheels and not an attached rail to keep it straight. Also, the paint chips easily and the very very strong chemical smell of the all the frame parts lingered for about a week, even with the windows open when I purchased and assembled it this past summer! I do like the build quality overall though. Nice bolts were used on the drawers and the drawer bottoms are actually WOOD and NOT CARDBOARD so it can hold a lot of clothes with no problem and especially since the drawers are very large, which is fantastic! I did think that the same types of bolts and inserts used on the drawers, should have been used on the frame to attach to bed slats to it. Instead, the slats are screwed to the frame using included self tapping wood screws, which if installed improperly or to close to the edge of the frame, could easily cause a crack in the frame or a crooked miss installation of the screw, which could possibly cause the screw or wood to fail and the bed slats to collapse or slip down off the frame. I've had cheaper beds with steel female inserts in the wood frame for the bolts to screw into to secure the bed slats, so I think this was a cheap cost cutting effort that could have made a good bed frame even much better and more secure, especially if someone were to jump on or fall onto the bed. If the self tapping wood screws are screwed in properly, centered on the frame and straight, it is very sturdy. Overall I am satisfied with the frame and the fact it is ALL wood is a definite deal maker and I would definitely buy again!

This arrived more than a week earlier than anticipated, even with a one-day reschedule added by FedEx, so that was fantastic. Everything was in good shape and there are spares provided for every single hardware piece, which is very thoughtful. I wouldn't call the shipping packaging excellent but nothing arrived damaged so it was adequate to the task. Assembly instructions include both pictures and text. Took me a little over an hour to assemble solo and that's with a couple interruptions. It looks beautiful and as other reviewers have commented, the drawers are enormous. The drawer bottom is relatively sturdy but I think I'd fashion a reinforcement cross bar support underneath the bottom (would be easy to do) if I load it with anything heavy. The only reason I'm dropping from 5 stars to 4 is due to some deficiencies with the slat components. There seemed to be a bit of variance in the length - many were fine but some were just a bit shorter and seem like they could slip off the side rail. I feel the slats could be perhaps 1/8" wider in their span. Related to that, there's also an issue with the predrilled holes on a few of the slats. There are pre-drilled holes in the ends of the slats so that they can be attached by screws to the side rails, to keep the slat assembly in place. There are not predrilled holes in the side rails so it's just a matter of centering the slats perfectly evenly and perpendicular to the side rails and then screwing through the pre-drilled slat holes into the side rails. Should be simple, but a few of the predrilled slat holes are not quite far enough toward the side rail - the screws would go half into wood, half into air, no matter how much I fiddled with aligning the slats. I ended up drilling new pilot holes into adjacent slats, that would allow the screws to fully go into the side rail wood. My advice: Be prepared with a drill in case you run into a similar problem and need to drill a new pilot hole or two. Since so many

We were wanting to upgrade from a full to a king for some time. We just had a typical frame and mattress set before and I wanted something with storage drawers that would take a memory foam mattress without a box spring. I almost ordered a different bed until I saw in the description it was manufactured whatever, not solid wood. That brought me to this bed. It's solid wood and super easy to put together. It only comes with two drawers, but if you have night stands next to your bed it would make opening a second set difficult anyway. You can also order additional drawers if you really want them. The bed is absolutely the perfect height, has a great foundation for a memory foam mattress, and it's high enough you can put baskets under the part without drawers if you want extra storage. I definitely don't regret this purchase.

The quality is better than we expected, and itโs easy to install. Drawers are not attached to the bed frame and they are on rollers. But the painting was peeling off. I just contacted the seller to say how they gotta respond.
