Top Amazon Reviews

  • Outstanding product at a fair price.
Color: P210 Power Station-A
This is a review of the AFERIY 2048Wh Portable Power Station. This item caught my eye during Prime days because of it’s significant discount and I’m glad I jumped on the opportunity. The unit works exactly as advertised – no exceptions. I’m impressed with the ability to control the line charging rate so that I can charge it from wall outlets that already have loads without tripping a breaker; excellent feature that’s often missed by reviewers. It has plenty of output connection options along with the ability to be charged by either line power, solar, or both simultaneously. The display is large, bright, and very easy to read and understand. Although my intended usage is as a backup UPS for my home-lab running computers, monitors, routers, etc. it will also be available for “extra duty” as a source for power in my remote garage, yard, and other places where an extension cord is impractical. As shown in my photo, this unit is (apparently) an updated model that supplies a full 120vac. It has maintained a minimum of 117vac under heavier loads. I've seen reviews from a year or more ago that commented that their units dropped to 110vac or even lower under loading. I believe the manufacturer has resolved this issue. Very highly recommended as, even at it’s current, non-Prime Day pricing, it is a quality product and an excellent value. ... show more

  • Awesome, Reliable Bang for Buck with 1200W UPS capability!
Color: P210 Power Station-A
I have now been using this AFERIY P210 2400W Portable Power Station for almost a year and feel it's probably one of the best values currently available. I am primarily relying on its UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) capabilities to allow full-time living in an RV even through winters. I have tried other power stations in this price range, and this has been by far the best of all I've tried. I have bypassed a 20A Extension cord from my solar power system into my RV into the AFERIY and back out into the RV plug-in for the entire RV. This arrangement allows the AFERIY to provide UPS backup power for the entire RV and of course provides maximum performance and safety with its location inside the heated space. For convenience, I have also added a power switch for the AC charge port (see pic) to allow using the AFERIY for loads higher than 1200W. Note, the AFERIY's UPS is limited to 1200W total, but the "unplugged/switched-off" unit can easily handle loads up to 2400W. Normally, I use the unit in a load out equals charge in mode. The photo I included here shows the unit with a mild load out (for the Starlink and other RV loads), a USB load (charging a portable power bank), and a tapered-down charge from an outdoor generator as the internal battery gets close to its 100% maximum. When we want to operate our espresso maker that consumes an average of 1400W of power or our toaster oven that often peaks to 1800W, we simply shut off the input power (the switch in the photo eliminates awkward plugging/unplugging), operate the espresso machine or toaster oven which the AFERIY can easily do for 2-3 hours or more, then switch the AC input back on after finishing with the high loads. This unit is VERY QUIET - much quieter than other units we have tried. It is quiet even if the fan comes on for charging or discharging or both - think about the equivalent of a typical desktop cooling fan. This unit has the "charger" built right into the box - much more convenient than an awkward, super-hot external power supply like other brands employ. This unit charges very quickly - it will charge from 0% to 100% in 2 hours. The display is very informative with a large reading showing SOC (state of charge of the battery) in percent and then to the right it shows charging watts (if plugged in and charging) and below that output watts being consumed by the various outputs. It also shows a green bar below the percentage reading and the right bar(s) flash while charging. The left part of the display shows how long until fully charged or switches to show how long the current load can run on the APERIY. Although heavy, it weighs far less than an engine-driven generator yet can run any single load rated to operate off of a 110VAC outlet. This includes electric saws, cement mixers, jackhammers, heat guns, etc. I will eventually pick up another one of these to handle portable duties while keeping this one on RV UPS duty. Our solar/battery setup works great most of the time, but if we have rainy or overcast weather, then it can drop off since it has to keep refrigerators, winter hot wires, lights, and the RVs going. This AFERIY UPS with a 10ms switchover has kept our RV humming along even when the primary solar power system runs out of power. Some sensitive devices like our TV can detect the 10ms switchover but it doesn't affect use or viewing. All of our other devices appear to be oblivious to the UPS switchover time. I will be watching this company for future products - particularly portable power stations using sodium ion batteries to below-freezing outdoor use. The inability to use this AFERIY unit in freezing weather is the only downside I can come up with, but is a limitation of LIFEPO4 batteries that it uses, not the design which is superior to so many other brands. I have communicated with AFERIY's excellent customer service (to determine the 1200W UPS limit) and have extreme faith in their 7-year warranty commitment (extend with online registration). To summarize, here are the PROs and CONs of why you should purchase this portable power station: PROs: - Excellent capacity (2540 Whrs) - One of best designs and performance for the $$ - Excellent max power output (2400W) - Excellent UPS (1200W max when plugged in) - Quiet - Charges quickly (max 2 hrs) - No external power supply - Good portability although a bit heavy CONs: - Can't be used in below-freezing temperatures (problem with LIFEPO4 batteries, not design) Conclusion: If you are looking for one of the most powerful and well-designed portable power supplies in this price/performance range without paying "name-brand" money, this is the unit for you. ... show more

  • Something everyone needs to have!
Color: P210 Power Station-A
I recently got my hands on this portable power station, and I have to say, it's been a game-changer for both home backup and outdoor adventures. Right out of the box, I was impressed with how solid and well-built it felt. Despite packing a serious punch with 24000W power output and a 2048Wh capacity, it's surprisingly manageable to carry at just over 50 pounds. The battery is where this thing really shines. It uses a LiFePO4 battery, which I learned is way more durable than typical lithium-ion options. They claim it lasts for over 3,500 cycles, and I believe it. It gives me peace of mind knowing this thing is built to last a decade or more. What I love most is how fast it charges. In just about an hour and a half, it's fully juiced up, which is a huge plus during power outages or before a weekend trip. The app control is another win - being able to monitor power usage, amange settings, and even automate certain functions from my phone makes this feel modern and easy to use. The number of ports is incredible. Six AC outlets, multiple USB ports (including high-wattage options, and even a car charging outlet mean I can keep everything from my fridge to my phone powered without juggling cords. I once had a mini workspace set up at a campsite, and this tation easilt powered my laptop, a small fan, and a cooler with no issues. I was also really impressed with how quiet it is. Even under a heavy load, it barely makes a sound. At night, it's whisper-quiet, which is perfect for keeping CPAP machines or other essentials running without noise disturbance. If you're looking for a reliable backup for home or something powerful for camping and road trips, this is a fantastic choice. The added peace of mind with the extended 7-year warranty is a huge bonus too. It's an investment, but one I feel confident will pay off for years to come. One of the standout features is the UPS functionality. The station switches to backup power almost instantly during an outage, which makes it ideal for critical devices like medical equipment or computer systems. I tested it during a brief power cut, and everything keep running smoothly without missing a beat. The design is sleek and modern, and the included dust cover is a nice touch for keeping it clean during storage. My only small gripe is that while it's portable, it's still fairly heavy for frequent moving. But considering the power it offers, that's a fair trade-off. Overall, I'm seriously impressed and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable power solution. ... show more

  • Great value for the price if you don't mind some tinkering
Color: P210 Power Station-A
The system arrives in a state where it can be plugged in and charged. Anything else requires a bit of tinkering. For example, if you look for the Aferiy app in the app stores you will get directed to an older app that doesn't work with these - you instead want the BrightEMS app. You'll want to make sure to pair the app with the device because by default when you turn on the AC ports it is set to turn those off after 8 hours. As mentioned in the product page app you can fix this through the app - but the buttons on the machine only turn AC on and off. The powerbank is also very particular as to the order you turn things on. If you have it plugged in and charging, then turning the AC on will hit the Protection Fault and turn it right back off again. You need to get the unit mostly charged, then unplug it from charging, then turn on the AC, and then plug it back into charge. Solar panel charging with 3rd party solar works as long as you can output using the DC-50 connector - which is one of the more common standards. If you panels don't support that, you'll need a converter cable. Be aware that the model only supports solar charging at 500w as opposed to it's AC charging at 1100 watts. As others have mentioned, while the unit is rated for 2400w output, it will not do more than 1100w if it is plugged in. So you need to remove the plug to support the full 2400w. It appears to be a limitation of the BMS for these, and I gather the 2026 upgrade of the unit has addressed this. Overall, one of the least expensive 2048wh powerstations that isn't too cheap too use. ... show more

  • Impressive
Color: P210 Power Station-A
Living in hurricane country a generator is a must. However I did not like running a gas one overnight-even a small one. I had been considering a battery pack like for several years On prime Day I sprung for this one. I have both a large propane generator and small one. I use the large for about 4-6 hours a day to keep the fridge old. For the other 10-12 hours of daytime I use the small one. I'll recharge the battery with one of these. I figured my overnight usage needs at about 150-200 watts. A 2kWh battery should give me 10-12 hours total run time which is perfect (factoring in losses for the inverter/fans). Personally I would have loved to find a power station that saved on the inverter (I don't need to draw more than 300w at a time) and spent that money on more battery capacity. This one seemed to have the best balance for my needs. The unit arrived quickly and was well packed. Physically there are several features I thought were nice. The handles are large and integrated into the case. They feel well made. There is a small compartment at the top with a snap lid. This is perfect for storage of the power cords. Also included was a separate storage bag for the cables as well as a cover for the unit. The sides have small snap closed doors for access to the power ports, both in and out. The front has a nice bright LED light - perfect for when the power goes out and you are trying to set the unit up. The unit does indeed charge in 2 hours when connected to AC. While I didn't look at the actual conductors, the power cable is beefy. Another nice feature is the ability to set the charging current. In the future I will charge at a lower rate which will hopefully extend the battery's health over time. I charged the device to 80% to store (Neither of these are in the manual but I think it's good practice) To test the battery life I fully charged the unit and then connected a 290-320w load. The unit predicted 6 hours of life. In the end it was closer to 7. The fans cycled on and off (saving battery). I never once heard them from 10' away. The app (android) is OK. It's a bit limited but does allow for some remote monitoring. My only concern was regarding the frequency. When first turned on it showed 50hz. I searched the manual and online and could find nothing about switching it to 60. Apparently this is the INPUT frequency, and this was first charged in China 😁. As soon as I plugged the unit in it switched to 60. A nice unit all around! ... show more

  • Beware UPS mode
Color: P210 Power Station-A
Got this to run as a UPS and back up battery bank on my off grid cabin. What the description does not tell you and you only find out once it is in hand and read the manual is that in UPS mode you are limited in live power draw, nowhere near the 1800 watts that a typical 15amp USA circuit is capable of. Most of these kinds of units set protection so you don't hit that limit but this is set at around 1200 watts, far too low, this limits your amp draw to 10 amps where if you exceed it shuts down. This is when it is plugged into the wall power conditioning the output. On battery only you can draw the whole 2400 watts if needed. If this had been in the description I would not have purchased. And this is a non-returnable item and Amazon is no help at all, except that their AI bot Rufus also assured me this was the perfect fit for my needs, lol. The unit itself is well built, and I would be happy with it if it had the capacity I need which is why it gets 2 stars instead of 1. So, for me a waste of $500. For you maybe it will work but just note the advertised power comes with a giant caveat. My only option is to sell it locally at a loss or double down and buy another to meet my capacity needs. Again, if this had been in the DESCRIPTION I could have saved the trouble. Update: After a few weeks of use an a UPS it consistently drains when something or even nothing is plugged into it and when it hits 89% of charge it shuts off and restarts. Doesn't depend on the load at all and this is when it's plugged into the wall as a UPS. Of course if anything is plugged into it when it restarts then that equipment shuts off too. Extremely dangerous for the gear I have, unit is completely useless for intended purpose. Dropping down to one star, would give negative stars if I could. Terrible product and terrible customer service. ... show more

  • High Quality - Reasonable Price
Color: P210 Power Station-A
I got the AF-P210 Portable Power Station, and man, this thing is solid. It got a LiFePO4 battery that last 10 years and over 3,500 charge cycles. Way better than them regular lithium batteries. I don’t gotta worry ‘bout it dying fast, and it’s real safe too—no overheating, no fire risk. Just charge and go. This thing got 2048Wh capacity and a 2400W inverter (4800W peak). That mean it power big stuff, not just phones and laptops. I used it for my fridge, tools, even a small AC. Most power banks? They weak. This one? It keep things running for hours. What I really like? Pure sine wave power. That mean the electricity clean, no buzzing or flickering. Good for my laptop, speakers, anything sensitive. No damage, no worries. Plus, it charge fast and don’t waste power. For camping, blackouts, or off-grid work, this thing a lifesaver. It tough, got big power, and don’t mess up my gear.
