This is my first pair of Cole Haan loafers. very well made fit true to size. I always wore bass loafers. Then they started making them in China. can't get my size. These shoes are perfect if you need a wide size. I get an 8.5 XW (EEE) Fit is excellent, need a little breaking in. Leather is box leather, not brush off leather a little stiffer but still very comfortable. I got the burgundy, very nice shine. run out of stock fast. Getting a black pair next. Run small.

Run small and narrow. Re ordered a 1/2 size up and wide width. Shoes are beautiful and cery comfortable. Normally a size 10 reg - 10 1/2 wide fit perfect

Good construction and fit

These are nice shoes if you have never owned a loafer type shoe. The fit is very accurate. I am a 9.5D and they fit perfectly. They are tight when you put them on, and then warm up to your foot and fit great as you wear them as they should for a good loafer (just like a good boot). They are made in India and not like the many pairs I own that are "Made in the USA". The "copy" is very good, but they go a little over on trying to make them look "antique." All they did is not spray the color on some areas of the shoes so it looks "worn." I am sure as I wear them and apply some good polish they will look great. I would recommend these if you like "vintage" looking shoes without earning that title. ... show more

Great shoes!

This is my second pair of this classic style of shoes. The first pair has a history of over 20 years, but it is still very comfortable and only requires the replacement of the heel and sole once. Cardboard, uncomfortable, and not worth the money

I know that I am over a year late, but just this morning I was thinking about how horrible these shoes were. I have never written a bad review about any product anywhere. But I was out looking at various loafers and remembered this experience. I’m sure these shoes were made out of the material listed, but they were rock hard, impossibly uncomfortable, and had nothing of the comfortable loafer feeling about them. Luckily, when I bought them, they were just over half the price they are now. I ultimately threw them away after wearing them two or three times.
