The media could not be loaded. Update: I have to downgrade this to one star... After my cats have used this for a couple days, I've realized that the design flaw of the loose pads is EXTREMELY dangerous. There is no way to secure them, or even tuck them in, and every time a cat goes to jump off a platform, the thin cheap pad slides. This caused my cat to fall and he could have been injured. If he was an older cat, he probably would have been. It's a real shame that they decided to cut corners on something so simple after designing such a solid and good looking tree. I cannot recommend that people buy this, especially at this price of over $200. I have 4 different designs of these natural wood branch cat trees, and the ones that cost less than half the price at around $100 are safer and better designed than this one. Also if you do your research, you can find this exact same cat tree from other retailers like Wayfare, Temu, and even Lowe's, for $125-$140. These trees all come out of the same factory in China and are sold under different brand names. Do a Google image search of several of the product photos, and you will find them cheaper. ****************** Original review: Pros: • Extremely sturdy and stable (no wobbling even with my large cat jumping on it) • Platforms are nice and big -- plenty of room for multiple cats • High-quality sisal rope on the posts • Good height and fits perfectly in the corner next to the window and my larger cat tree Cons: • The “plush” mats on the bottoms are just thin fake-fur pieces that slide around constantly, so the cats end up laying directly on the hard wood. Some small peices of velcro added by the manufacturer would fix the problem of them sliding around every time a cat jumps off a platform • I would MUCH prefer it to be regular carpet like my other cat tree in the backgroundof my photo... this fake fur will gets nasty eventrually and is almost impossible to clean (vomit, hairballs, etc.) •The dangling cat ball toys are just downright dangerous. They hang by elastic thread that can easily be chewed through and swallowed by a cat. The manufacturer could save money and make a safer product by simply not including them. I reccomend not installing them, its not worth the danger Conclusion: Would be 5 stars if the platforms had actual carpet and the mats were secured down. But its otherwise a solid tree and strong/stable enough for even the largest of cats. If you dont mind this fake fur material and are willing to add some velcrow yourself, id say go ahead and buy it.

Stability is always a focus when purchasing a cat tree and this one is solid. Very heavy, but sturdy. There were a few metal pieces in the fur near the predrilled holes that I had to cut out, and the bottom of the platforms could be more plush. Aside from that it is pretty and only took me 15 minutes to assemble. It took a day or two but the cats are loving it!

I really like this cat tower, with my only complaint is that I would like more padding where the cat is likely to sit. It was a little difficult to put together, but it is very heavy, and you are given all the tools necessary to assemble the tower. It is a pretty light beige color, and my cat took an immediate interest in the long lounge area. I had to use a small table and several books to get the platform level while attaching in the two lower branches to the MDF wood base. I found that I had to adjust the larger branch a little to get the first platform on without it touching the larger branch. The second platform also required a small adjustment, less than 1/4 inch, to get the 2 holes aligned. The top went on easily. There is a metal clip to hold the toys, which includes a stretchy string. I like sisal for cat scratching. A kitten might need a ramp to get to the first platform, but they will grow into this tower. It’s heavy enough that I do not think that my cat would turn it over. The fuzzy part goes around the bottom edge of the platform, making it easy to slide around. I think it will be durable for my large cat, who is a jumper. My biggest concern is that my cat might jump from the top platform to the top of my cabinet. I will have to anchor my cabinet to the wall because I have seen another cat of mine turn over a heavy wooden corner cabinet! I think this will be fun for my cat, and I put it near a window for more cat entertainment. Another concern- if a bird flys by, she will jump towards the other window to try to catch it- she is an indoor/outdoor cat, and is still getting used to the concept of a window.

Unfortunately this wobbles. The design does not give enough room for the cat to jump down from the top to the next. My cat actually fell off. This has no where for your cat to even grab to try to climb. The bottom step does not anchor it moves side to side and also isn’t designed where they can jump on it. Super beautiful….very terrible on the design.
