I was looking for sweat pants that we're wide leg. I wanted something that would hug my butt and hips and then flare out a bit towards the bottom of my leg for a slimming look. I'm pear shaped and for me these pants fit just right. They aren't tight on my butt and hips but they hug there comfortably and then are loose from the mid thigh down to a flare at the bottom of my ankle. I'm 5'2" so I knew before buying these would be too long but since I plan to wear these around the house and on dog walks around my neighborhood I was OK with trimming them with scissors to the right length for me since this type of material won't unravel. I've been using them for a few weeks and enjoying them. They are warmer than athletic style leggings that I wear the rest of the time so they are good for colder days. I'd say they are mid-weight as far as thickness. They definitely cover any cellulite you might spot otherwise through a tight legging. I'd say they are true to size. I normally wear a 2x in Shein bottoms and I got these in a 2x and they fit great. ... show more
