Used this on my Specialized Stumpjumper EVO for a bikepacking trip (Kokopelli Trail). Mounted to a OneUP carbon handlebar. I put an 11L dry bag with my sleep system on the cradle (2.7lbs/1.22kg) and over 4 days and 140 miles of riding I only had it slip down a little bit when we hitting the drops on the Whole Enchilada. Easy to tighten and it gave no trouble after that. If your brake levers and cables don't accommodate a simpler cradle this is a great solution that seems robust. Not being able to see the front wheel took a little getting used to but you can't blame the product for that. ... show more

Have tried two other makes with limited success. Purchased this model and just returned from a 750 mile bike pack trip. Instantly installs, rock stable, no finicky attachments, no constant readjusting or slippage. And best of all, no rubbing with a fork that travels on rough terrain.

Stayed put on the uphill but on a rattling descent, it slips towards the steer tube until finally rubbing. I tightened the bolts fully. Not sure whether the grip is lacking or the webbing stretches (both?), but it was a bummer! Now I can't return as it has been slightly over 30 days.

    • Works great but slips down as you ride
I like the product and took it on an overnight bike camp trip. Appeared high quality, easy to install, but would slip (turn) down on the handlebars putting strain on my cables from the weight of the pack. Ended up running an extra cord around the bottom of the bag and up over the handlebar stem to help stabilize. Would still purchase again. ... show more
