Lots of hooks with ergonomic rubberized grips, the yarn is of nice colors, though not high quality, but fine for learning and practice. We did buy a separate, spiral-bound instruction book, the instructions provided were adequate, but very fine print and small illustrations. This kit is perfect if you can teach crochet or already know how and just wanted lots of tools in a handy, inexpensive, and attractive carry all. Daughter expects to do her first granny square in the coming week. I would absolutely purchase this again as a gift to young crafters.

This is a great little beginners kit and comes with everything you need to get started. It is small and great for travel. It doesn’t smell bad and the yarn is decent for a starter kit. There’s several colors and a lot of different tools inside. It also comes with a little book to get started, the kit seems durable and the items are better quality than expected. Keep in mind the hook sizes though and the largest size included might not be large enough for you.

I have had this kit for 2 months now and this was my first time practicing crotchet. The amount of tools in the kit are vast enough to give you an idea of how to create many things that you would think are too advanced for beginners. I have gained a lot of confidence in my crotchet ability and have started my own crotchet business because of the inspiration and small introduction to mini projects through this kit. The wool inside is of great quality, the design of the bag is efficient and it holds way more than it looks like it could hold and is also able to fit mini projects and extra accessories in. The contents given are worth the price. Critique wise i would just say that the small chain markers are a bit fragile but still agile and sufficient for a beginners or advanced persons.

Overall this is a great beginner’s kit. I’ve had some experience in crocheting years ago but wanted the kit because of the wide range of hooks and supplies, and I’m very happy with that. If you order this, go ahead and order some real yarn and toss the stuff that comes with it. It’s horrible. It’s so very fine that it’s hard for a true beginner to learn to crochet on for sure.

I bought this for 1 of my littles. It came with everything pictured and everything she needs to get started. The yarn is colorful and doesn't split while crocheting. They hooks are great too! I love the bag which also gives her somewhere to keep everything stored. This did arrive 1 day late.
