Directions: Application Instructions 1. Use only on cats. 2. Hold applicator tube in an upright position. Pull cap off tube. 3. Turn the cap around and place other end of cap back on tube. Twist cap to break seal, then remove cap from tube. 4. Part the hair at the base of the cat’s skull until skin is visible. 5. Evenly apply the entire contents of the Advantage II tube directly on the skin by squeezing the entirety of the contents in that one spot. Do not get this product in your cat’s eyes, or allow your cat to ingest this product.

Of all the flea and tick meds out there, this is by far the easiest to apply and the fastest to dry. I live on the east coast with all kinds of ticks in abundance. Have 2 cats (lighter weight cats) and ordering the product for large (higher weight) cats was able to save $$ by splitting a tube between cats. Ease of application and effective flea control. This works well enough if you don’t have active fleas in your yard or house but I usually have to reapply after three weeks during the warmer seasons. I use it for my cats because it’s one of the milder preventables and none of them have any problems tolerating it. It takes several hours to dry and a couple of my cats get a little bit of flakiness where I applied it that is temporary. It starts working fairly fast, within a few hours usually. Well, I'm unsatisfied overall. I have been using this flea and tick medicine for 4 months now and I have been pulling ticks off my cat. And just to be super specific i just reapplied meds to him a week ago and pulled two ticks off him today.
