    • As good as these get.
For the FAA exam, you need to navigate in the 1950’s, and that is probably the only time you will ever need this. Unless you are an Amish sea captain or you fall into a time machine, you will not need it again. But, for that one time you need it, this one will work perfectly.

    • printing rubs off
There are 2 spots on the rotating disk where the printing has already come off. Using this to study for my FAA written test. I mean, really once you are licensed you probably will never use paper charts again as Garmin Pilot and ForeFlight do this too well.

A must have for any pilot. Easy to use and well made. iPads and high tech avionics are great, but you still have to know how to navigate the old fashioned way also. This does exactly what you need it to do.
