First - I found that if the cover and doors are left in the sun for awhile it helps a lot when assembling. Otherwise the material is pretty stiff. There's about 6" of excess material past the base of the tent, so sand bags or sand tubes can be placed on this for extra support on windy days. I'm using several sand tubes as they are a perfect fit. Everything snaps together - just pay attention to the lettering. Some of the tubes are easy to mix up. I assembled this by myself in under an hour. Four standard pallets work well if you need an elevated bottom to keep your stuff off the ground. ... show more

I needed something to block Wisconsin’s frigid westerly wind that would freeze my outdoor water pump (even with a heater on it) and freeze ME as I filled many buckets of water for my horses each day. We got an early blast of winter this past week with strong winds and I told my family if the shelter survived those winds, I would write a five star review, and here it is! Yes, the directions to put it together were lacking and yes I made some mistakes, but the pieces are so easy to assemble and disassemble that I got it together, by myself, in under two hours. I added two sand tubes along the bottom on the back side to make sure no wind came under the shelter. It is wonderful to not have the wind taking my breath away. I am hopeful this will survive this winter and for many more after! ... show more

So, aside from the instructions being as useless as a toddler's drawing, it was relatively easy to put together if you sorted the pieces first. The covering is thick enough that it took some tugging and adjusting to get into place. One in place and left to fully stretch out for the day it was fine. The smell is very vinal/plastic when first opening the box, but airs out in about a day. The quality was great for what I paid and with the anchor ass slide in different directions, it has held up to all the wind this summer. This was way worth the money! Instead of having to pay $300 a month for storage we bought this amd put it in our backyard. It has lasted through rain wind and dust storms. The martial is thick and stretchy. The windows keep the air from getting stale in there. Also not an eyesore, fits perfectly in a corner were a shed would be. To my great surprise (and pleasure!) this little tent withstood winds over 60 mph and didn't budge, so my motorcycle and my tools have stayed protected. Was looking for a way to keep my motorcycle dry and out of the sun without spending a grand or two on one of those sheds from lowes or home depot. Built a wooden platform for it to sit on and screwed the feet directly to the floor. The zip up doors are super easy to open and close. Needed a temporary storage for my garden tractor. This just the right size and easy to move or disassemble if the homeowners association complains (ha ha). The instructions are so so, could be a little more detailed, but I suggest, unlike me, you follow them. It's important that the front and back are hung before the sides are tight down. The front and back could have been a couple of inches longer, because mine do not reach to the ground all the way, about an inch or two short. For that reason I gave this item only 4 stars. Otherwise everything fits just fine. Because of the cold weather here, I assembled most of the frame in my garage and simply carried it to its final resting place. Mine is protected from the wind by another shed and a bunch of trees, so I have no idea how it would stand up in a windy environment.
