  • Cool, light up training wheels!
My kid loved these training wheels since they have LEDs that light up while they turn. They do what they are supposed to do and keep the bike upright and give my kid confidence while biking.

  • Good Set
A pretty good set of training wheels that we placed on my daughter's 20" bike as she has balance issues. The wheels give her the confidence to ride her bike without getting anxious. They are sturdy enough to hold her and the bike fairly balanced. There is some wobble especially when turning but nothing major. Putting them on was not the funnest thing I've ever done. ... show more

  • Fits perfectly on my daughters bike
These training wheels are a perfect fit for my daughter's bike. The added lights make riding at night more fun and safer. My daughter loves her new training wheels.

  • OK Training Wheels for the Right Bike
It is too narrow, causing easy tip over, but it still helps. This is because when it's mounted too high, it has too much tilt but if it's mounted too low, the tires don't touch the ground. For our bike, it was just too much tilt.

  • Harder to install than standard training wheels
These training wheels definitely feel high quality, but the reality is that you don't need high quality training wheels. They were quite the hassle to install. The item did not come with printed instructions, all pieces were just thrown into a draw string bag. I looked up the Amazon listing and found a visual that showed what order all the nuts, bolts and washers go... it was not the order I would have guessed. The other issue I ran into was that when I tried tightening the bolt that holds the wheel to the bracket, the whole piece just kept spinning - I had to find a combination wrench to hold one side in place while I used a ratchet to tighten the other side (couldn't use a regular wrench because there wasn't enough space). Most training wheels come with the wheels already attached to the bracket - these did not and that part seemed way more complicated than it needed to be. The nuts that came with these are also different from your standard size nut that the bikes use on the back tire where you attach these training wheels... so then you need another size wrench/ratchet for that part of the installation. The hole they suggested for our size bike did not match. The tire wasn't even touching the ground once I installed. I had to remove them both and re-install in the next hole, but then the training wheels were over an inch off the ground on both sides. It ended up being fine since my daughter is getting close to learning how to ride without them, so it's probably best they're a little off the ground and just there to catch her if she tilts too far one way or the other. Because the wheels aren't touching the ground, they don't light up very well... so now my daughter is purposely tilting to one side onto the training wheels so she can watch it light up... which defeats the whole purpose. And maybe I overtightened them, but the training wheels don't spin very well once you tighten it to the bracket. Overall, I'm not happy with these training wheels and wish I would have just gotten even cheaper ones that don't light up. ... show more

  • Great Balancing Kit. Hard To Wok With.
These are very quality wheels. The installation was a bit challenging, after a little tinkering we were able to get the right fit to the bike. The wheels light up and perform well to keep the rider upright. A good overall fit.(These training wheels were adjusted to a Haro Shredder 18” kids bicycle). -MK ... show more

  • Too Narrow
These don't have very much off-set from the wheel, making the bike still somewhat precarious. I don't think I would use these over 16/18" wheels. They are easy to add to the bike and fun for the kiddo.
