Needed training wheels for my son to ride his 20” bike. These are well made but don’t fit well with a bmx style bike. I guess with the images it was made for a mountain bike. I will have to bend them a little to make them work. Also you don’t get any usable tools to put these together. There is one tool but you also need an Allen key to fully tighten it. Only 3 stars bc I’m assuming with a mountain bike it would fit better. ... show more

We bought our granddaughter a bicycle, but she just wasn’t ready to ride it without training wheels so I ordered these to go on her bike. They came very quickly in the mail and were very easy to put on her bicycle. She was very excited when she saw that she would be able to ride her bike over at our house the next time she came over. I really can’t comment on the lights on the training wheels because she won’t be riding in the dark and I haven’t really seen them light up in the daytime. These training wheels fit well on my daughters' 16" bike. They are solidly constructed, and have several holes to allow for different bike heights. The fact that they light up is cute, but kind of meaningless since they're behind you, and you're probably not riding at night. The main issue is that they contain no instructions at all on how to install them. There are only a few parts, so it's pretty obvious, but if you're not familiar with these things, I think it could result in some bad installations and scraped knees. Overall, they're good enough that I'd recommend them, but only if you know what you're doing without instruction. ... show more

Works great on my kids bike with 12 " wheels. I like the height adjustability and the overall look of these. I can't think of any improvements that could be made. 12" wheels are definitely the smallest they would work on.

It took me a while to assemble the assistant wheels and put them on my kid’s bike. The extension screw didn’t fit the axle very well so I didn’t use it. And this caused the assistant wheels not parallel in directions. Overall they worked as assistant wheels but not perfectly.
