I like these and they work great- I ordered the red and black square set. Knocking off a star because the numbers are the same color as the knob, so you can barely see them. It’s not what’s pictured in the ad (it’s advertised as having black numbers against the red knobs, which would’ve been 100x easier to see). Really Versatile set of weights. I can easily adjust as needed for myself and/or other household members. We all get the specific weight we need for our workouts but don't need different sets. We just don't have room for a gym! Just follow the instructions on how to use them. While they are not difficult to set, it is a good idea to know what you are doing before you lift something that can drop on your foot or furniture. ... show more

As far as the dumbells go they work well. They are bulky for some moves amd you can't switch weights really fast (if you are using some kind of video/program) vs individual weights. So there are soem disadvantages over traditional weights. However for the cost and space saving aspect they are a great option. The reason I even got on here to review is for the awesome customer service. One of mine started to make a loose metal noise and the hand started to seperate from the weights. This was about 4 months after buying them. The company emailed me a video of how to take the cover off the side and sure enough it was a single loose screw causing the issue- fixed in 3 minutes. ... show more

    • Space-saver but bulky to work with
I love that these are adjustable and don't take up as much space as individual barbells. I also like the shape so they don't roll when I sent them down. That said, they are very large and bulky and a bit awkward to work with. I guess it's a trade off for saving space.
