This style has the worn-in look, but without any signs of wear and tear. It's a pretty stabdard hat for this style, and I think the cost makes it a great value. I see the value in the adjustable velcro strap compared with the snapping strap option. But there is a potential downside because hair coul get stuck in the velcro. My tip is to not adhust the velcro strap when wearing it unless you are bald or have a buzz cut. I suggest adjusting it when not wearing it, and then take it off again more adjustments are needed. This should prevent hair from getting stuck in the velcro, which would cause the hairs to break or get pulled out when the hat is taken off.

The review is for Volyers Baseball Cap in black. This is a “denim wash” cap with hard brim. Closure type is VELCRO, although the webpage advertises a magnetic closure. The tag inside the hat states 100% cotton, whereas the webpage claims fabric type made of 99% cotton and 1% other fibers. Its quality does not stand out compared to similar products.

The image in the listing shows a baseball cap that is well formed. The reality is that the cap is about as stiff as denim jeans and does not form a well rounded and stiff front and top. As expected with cotton, the cap was somewhat wrinkled when I unpackaged it, and required some steaming or ironing to get it smoothed out. The closure/adjustment is a hook and loop type fastening system that works as it should. The brim is well formed and stiff as expected. The color was similar to the image in the listing, but had a bit more of a aged/washed look that is akin to casual aged jeans. It's a simple, casual baseball cap and I'll use it from time to time.

This hat is lightweight & comfortable. The stitching looks decent, and I appreciate the velcro back instead of those cheap clasps! It wears like a low profile, which is also my preference. The cap looks crisp and new, even though it was shipped folded up, I was surprised to unfold it and put it on and there are no wrinkles to be seen. The fabric does feel like an old soft pair of well broken in levi's I would classify the color as nearing "distressed black" - since it not a deep rich black.

The cap is made from washed cotton and it looks asphalt grey, I like this color. It is soft and comfortable. A Velcro strap on the back allows you to adjust the size to your liking. The fabric is not as heavy as on some brand name caps, but it is not too thin either, it’s in the middle. There are six eyelets and a button on the crown, and a sweatband on the inside – all distinctive elements of a baseball cap. I think the visor is curved little too much, but this is a matter of taste and other people may like it this way. It's a good cap overall, and the price (currently $7) is very appealing. I think it deserves a 4+ rating

I wanted a hat that was plain and did not have any free advertising on it. Saw this one and liked the smoke grey color (actual stated color is black). It fits well and is adjustable. The brim is moldable and stays in place. This hat is shipped in soft packaging and may get some wrinkles and unintentional molding by the shipping company, but after a few wears, the main wrinkles go away. A solid hat that does not have any name brand on it.
