  • Better design than the $200 competitors
This track saw guide is really nice. It is square at 90 degrees and the other angles seem to be right on as well. It was also well packed too. I already have a TSO track saw square, and while it is very accurate, this Going Make square serves my needs better. The TSO (which cost almost $200), is very wide so when you cut a 4x8 sheet of plywood using a standard 55" track, the square takes so much room on the track, that there isn't enough track left on the end to finish the cut. The Going make is thinner, allowing the track to be centered on the 4 foot section of plywood. In my opinion, the Goingmake square is a better design, and more practical than the $200 competitors ... show more

  • Outstanding Tools
Normally I do not post lenghty reviews, but in this case I am making an exception. I have purchased 11 different Goingmake Tools and ALL of them are outstanding builds, materials, precision and finish. Especially the concealed hinge jig....perfect. Sounds silly, but I check every so often the Goingmake products line to see if there are any new products added. Good to see another company producing and offering very functional tools competing and beating the price of the "upper brands". Can't go wrong with this line of tools. Directions are clear (could be tweaked a bit) and the packaging is top notch. I leave the tool in the box, put a label on end and put on my tool shelf awaiting the next project. I'm going to sender a "wish list" in hopes they are considering or in process of designing other tools. Can't go wrong. ... show more

  • Great for making accurate angle cuts.
I love the unit for it's ability to make various angles. unfortunately the locking pin is screwing in if you are making a different angle from the presets that screw-in pin is easy to misplace. Perhaps have a treaded place on the device to store it when its removed. I've used this with a jig to cut trim on field projects. The plunge of the track saw makes the cut extremely accurate. ... show more

  • A must need to increase efficiency and accuracy
This is an excellent tool for woodworking! I used it with my Kreg ACS track saw and table, and I couldn’t be more satisfied. It significantly sped up the process, ensuring that I always got a straight cut from the factory edge. It's clearly made from high quality material and I had zero worry about this shifting when processing the wood. ... show more

  • Brilliant!
One of the very few items that I've bought from Amazon that far exceeds my expectations. I highly recommend this track square. Its is perfectly square at 90 and also perfect at 45 degrees. I would absolutely purchase this again.

  • Does the job
It does make cutting multiple angles much quicker and easier to cut once it is properly set up. The only issue that I see is that the setting method is not fully accurate without assistance. The method of setting it is to align a hole to the angle desired and put the locking screw in place. The problem with this method is that you only have a few angle selections and there is a bit of play in the setting holes. I found this issue with my speed square where at 45 degrees, the speed square did not fully line up with the tool. I was able to loosed the locking bolt and move the tool into position and tighten it back down at the correct angle so it is usable and once set, makes it easy to set the track on the material at the desired angle. ... show more

  • Not a perfect 90
This product does not do exactly what it is supposed to do. It does not create the correct angle perfect 90. I was just trying to save with a cheap Chinese product, and again have learned my lesson. Will be returning.
