I began assembling the chair when I noticed that it was the wrong color. It was completely my fault, I ordered the wrong color by accident. The company was more than generous, willing to do an exchange at no additional cost. Although I did not assemble the entire chair, I gave it 5 stars because the directions were easy to follow and all of the parts were labeled making it easy to identify and assemble. I was having no problem doing it myself. I will add to the review regarding the comfort and sturdiness when I get me new chairs. The parts were high quality so I’m anticipating 5 stars for everything. I would highly recommend anything from this company! The chairs are all put together and I love them! Exactly the chair I was looking for. It rocks, it folds, its not wood and its comfortable! I bought two. Put them together by myself -very easy for the most part. Installation: All easy to follow directions. Just one fix or tip for the company. Label the hardware as A, B, C, etc..it would be even easier to follow. Folding/Rocking: If you do not install the rocker portion, folding the chair is easy to figure out. I did not think it could fold when it was a rocker -I was wrong. The front legs have to be lifted out of their slot, then it can fold even as a rocker. This is a huge plus. The size/fit and usage: The size is perfect for me with lots of room to get bigger. I am 5'11" and 195#. I can sit with out the leg extension and rock just fine. Pull out the leg extension and I am lounging and rocking. Cup holder is perfect for those "hold my beer" moments. Material/Design: The material is as told and appears to hold up well and sturdy. It will be a pleasure to own these. Design -what can I say -its a rocker and Adirondack, has a cup holder and leg stool that can hide away. The only thing missing may be a massage feature....kidding. Color: My only major complaint is the color choice. I would love more than Black/White/Gray. A nice royal blue, or an evergreen would be appreciated. Thanks! ... show more

    • Great Chair - Once Done Assembling

Good: So far, after a few months, the chair seems pretty sturdy. It looks good and is fairly comfortable. I like the rocker option and the foot rest that recedes underneath the seat. I think it'll last for some time and has already gone through a few very strong rain storms and is on the balcony facing south with zero damage, fading, etc. We'll see how it fares through the summer, but I think it'll be fine. Bad: Because it is made of a dense poly-wood, it's a lot to handle when assembling, and sometimes you're not sure if you tightened something either too much or too little. Also, it's pretty heavy; heavy enough for my wife to not want to move it to clean. Also, it folds, but it is extremely awkward and doesn't quite do what you expect it to do on the first or second try. ... show more

I love the versatility of the regular chair mode and the rocking chair mode. Thats what got me among all the options. I didn’t want any more wood for my outdoors furniture, since I live in Florida and this seemed to be the best option I could get, material wise. It looks resistant and has been easy to clean; also the material is very sturdy. My dad tried it, who is over 250 lbs and it resisted him and rocked pretty well. It did take me longer than I expected to put together. I was able to do it on my own though but literally use my feet to hold parts as I tighten them. The little tools, specifically the wrench, that the set comes with were not really useful so I had to use my own tools but the way that the manual and the screws were organized was awesome. There was no way to miss a part. I’m pleased and I’m looking forward to see how the color turns after a few months under the Florida sun. Something I noticed when reading about other brands is that people would often lose their safety/ locking pins and I appreciate the fact that this one came with it chain to it… packaging was also protective and shipping was immediate.
