I purchased these for a trip to Iceland, and they held up great! Probably the best gear choice I made for the trip. The grip on the sole was perfect for going up and down wet terrain, the mid ankle provided support when hiking loose volcanic gravel, and waterproof goretex kept my feet dry when stepping in puddles/was near waterfall spray. They were comfortable and light for all day wear; though they don’t breathe too well because of the waterproof build. Overall I think these were well worth the money, and would be happy to get a second pair after putting some more miles into them

I LOVE THESE. Growing up as an athlete I've had bad ankle sprains and these shoes help my feet feel very supported. They are a snug fit but amazingly comfortable, some days I even choose these to walk my dog vs my Brookes.

I like these shoes. They feel good to walk in. I have a habit of turning my ankle so these appealed to me. They are very snug to get on because the ankle is elasticized. You have to really pull to get on. . I have to tighten snugly through the foot as my feet are a little slim. Plenty of room in foot bed for medium width.

I ordered my usual size because I saw a couple reviews saying these run long. They were correct! Order your usual size. I am normally size 7 and I like wearing my hiking boots a half a size larger but I’m glad I ordered my usual size. Also, I purchased the GTX version (bright yellow) which do not have the “sock-like” fit around the ankle but provide great waterproof function. I just came back from Yosemite where it rained and snowed for a couple days and lived in these for five days with perfectly dry socks. The bright yellow one is the only GTX pair listed here so make sure to get those!

The shoes seem pretty sweet, but this color was a woman’s shoe, short of hidden in the color options for men, so the sizing was way off. Too bad because as soon as i tried to return them for a much higher size, they were totally out of stock.really wanted a waterproof hiker with a funky color combo too! Oh well
